Off-road fog lights - removal of housing?

Has anyone removed the fog light housing or surround piece? I swapped over to the diode dynamics fogs and they’re well… a bit underwhelming and putting a square in a round hole has my OCD going wild.

I’m considering removing the whole piece and designing / 3D printing something capable of holding more serious off road lights like the F-150 and Bronco Raptors have in that area.

im surprised there’s not something already on the market.

They’re on back order until July, but are known to be a very good upgrade from factory

I’ve been wanting the F150 look since I got my truck. Link below is from eBay seller. They won’t sell just the housing. That’s the look you’re wanting correct, potentially printing?

Basically yup! Hoping to put my own lights in but if I can get an STL and just modify the light holes / mounting we would be styling

Thank you ? for going along with the vague questions ?. I’ve got this set of housing and rigid lights from a 23 F150 Rap. I didn’t take the ones outta my Braptor but I think just by eyeing it that it might work better. As long as you get the right…correct angle I don’t see adding the complexity of all the adjustments. Other than if someone is lifting theirs. To give you an idea on size, if you place them face to face with the RR factory lights, they are the same housing size

Did y'all ever figure anything out? @adrouin64 I'm planning on paying a shop to 3D scan the stock housing, and producing an STL file. I'm wanting to use some Baja designs squadron S2's and S1's. Id love to work together on this. I haven't had much exposure to 3D modeling for prints, but my background is architecture, so 3D modeling in sketchup/rhino/BIM is up to snuff, hoping to transfer the skills over.
