Maybe I missed it, but do you think you'll end up getting the UCA from GOAT as well? From their articles, it sounds like they recommend it for the 2"/1" kit.

Actually I'm getting upper control arms from 74 weld. Best engineering yet on this product.Maybe I missed it, but do you think you'll end up getting the UCA from GOAT as well? From their articles, it sounds like they recommend it for the 2"/1" kit.
Much appreciated, thank you.
When lifted off the ground at full droop do your uca rest on your springs?Pretty easy install at home.

No, not even close. Went off-roading I frequently go to full droop. Also known as airborneWhen lifted off the ground at full droop do your uca rest on your springs?
How? I have a 2" puck and mine rests on the coils. Any pics of it off the ground. I'd like to see this.No, not even close. Went off-roading I frequently go to full droop. Also known as airborne![]()
I don't understand why this is any different than a puck lift. It's the same type of lift. It creates more down travelNo pictures. Using the 2-in lift supplied by goat off-road They won't even come close. This has all been looked at in the engineering.
@nedmo
Well they have similar appearance of result.I don't understand why this is any different than a puck lift. It's the same type of lift. It creates more down travel![]()
So you must be seeing some kind of impact marks on your coils? Also a point of impact on the upper control arm?How? I have a 2" puck and mine rests on the coils. Any pics of it off the ground. I'd like to see this.
When I have the truck jacked up and them at full droop the uca is on the coils. So you would have to have this two. Beings we're both 2" spacer lift. Which makes more droop. It is even on their site. Which has me thinking I'm needing longer uca. But nobody makes them.So you must be seeing some kind of impact marks on your coils? Also a point of impact on the upper control arm?

Did you rotate your spring? Look at my posts I have wear marks on the shock boot from them rubbing one side of the shock boot. I can see if the springs were rotated you would then rub on the control arm at full droop.When I have the truck jacked up and them at full droop the uca is on the coils. I rotated them 180 degrees that the directions said to do. YesDid you rotate your spring? Look at my posts I have wear marks on the shock boot from them rubbing one side of the shock boot. I can see if the springs were rotated you would then rub on the control arm at full droop.
That puts the bulge of the spring outward making it hit the control arm at full droop. I had a fab tech level which required springs to be rotated and the control arm rested on the coil. Switched it to a bajasrule level and factory spring orientation and have 0 issues with the spring hitting at full droop. The issues I had was before any level was installed there was wear on the shock boot from the coil spring. Look at my recent thread I posted about it yesterday.I rotated them 180 degrees that the directions said to do. Yes
