Finally got around to installing the front leveling spacers on my 2026 RRaptor. I plan to keep with OE size tires until these wear out, then maybe upsize one. I also wanted to maintain a small amount of rake. The spacers I installed are simple aluminum pucks that install similar to the GOAT spacers. They were 24mm thick

Like with the GOATs the stock studs are pressed out of the top hat and new hardware is threaded into the pucks. The roll pins are removed (mine were so loose I removed them by hand)

One of the "leveled" struts

You can't even see them once installed. Only the different hardware is an indicator

When I first dropped the truck and before the suspension settled, it was over 1" higher in the front than the back! But after I drove to the carwash and back (16 miles) it seemed to settle in.

Final numbers:

There is even less rake than I was expecting. I'll remeasure after some more driving to see if anything settles in more, but I have my doubts. I'll also try and get more accurate measurements instead of eyeballing the center of the wheel.

Seems odd you got over 2” of lift. Did you torque the hardware with weight on the wheels?

Yes, all bolts in the suspension were torqued down with weight on the suspension. All the control arm bushings and the massive lower strut bolts

If you are in Australia then it would be best to get the GOAT... G.O.A.T!

That seems really weird. If I’m tracking your comment that at first it was an inch higher than the rear, and now is about the same measurement as the rear, that means it was +3” after install, and now has settled to +2”. I don’t see how a 24mm spacer induces that unless something is binding or reassembled wrong. Super odd. I have a GOAT 1.5 being installed next week. I usually do these things myself, but I’m just too short on time at the moment so having a local off-road specialist do the install. I’ll take good before /after measurements on it as well.

Did you have the truck realigned? How does the steering compare to stock?

Can’t really see how anything is binding up or installed wrong. It’s pretty straightforward

Getting aligned today. Steering was slightly pulled to the right and felt a little off. I’ll post photos of the pre and post alignment when I get the sheet

Got the alignment done this afternoon. Drives better now, with no more uncentered steering and less pull. Here is the alignment sheet:

Ford Ranger Ranger Raptor - 1.5" front leveling spacers installed rraptor_firestone_alignment_post_level

I also re-measured now that I have ~50 miles on the suspension, with some aggressive swerving, braking, and accelerating to settle the suspension. Measurements are a lot better now:

Ford Ranger Ranger Raptor - 1.5" front leveling spacers installed rraptor_post_level_settled_numbers

I feel like the truck even looks like it has some rake again. I guess those bushings really needed to get settled, even though I loosened and retightened them with weight on the suspension.

Any chance you can get a fresh pic now that it’s settled more? Not trying to be critical at all. Just confirming your outcome. I have an identically sized 24mm GOAT spacer (1.5 lift) waiting to be installed. By my measurements, I have around 2 1/2 inches of rake stock (measured in three different places in my driveway, that’s a rough average). I’m assuming I’d have about an inch of rake after the lift. If that ends up being closer to zero, I may need to reconsider backing down to a 1 inch spacer. But if you are approaching an inch after things have settled, that is probably about right.

[edit] Apparently it wasn't raining as hard as I thought [/edit]

This is the best I could get right now:

Pretty happy with the result now

That looks pretty good to me. Much better than the first pic.

It is also hard to get a level shot around here. Our roads are pretty crowned. One of these days I'll get to a parking lot that is actually flat. Measurements were taken in my garage, which IS flat, but too cramped for a good photo of the profile.

Any additional settling on these since Monday?
Not really, but I have been sick so I haven't driven to work the last two days. But measured in the garage right now with a flat floor, I have somewhere between 0.75" and 1.00" of rake
