Did the install yesterday and some members asked for pics, I went with the 1.5" spacer in the front and the 1.5" spacer in the rear instead of the 1.0" Rear lift that come with GOAT's recommended packages. Rake is exactly like stock just with a higher ride height which I'm totally fine with. I wanted handling to stay to same and wanted some more clearance for slightly bigger tires, I have Falken Wildpeak at4w 285/75/17 (34.1") waiting to get mounted to a set of 17x9 +30 RTR Evo 6's. Even with stock wheels the increased ride height makes the truck look better in person.

This is after the ride height calibration, but before going out for alignment. I was surprised at how many tire shops want nothing to do with you when they hear "lift kit" for an alignment. I had to call around to a few shops.....

Looks good as I'm a fan of the factory rake. For the alignment, was there more than toe adjusted?

Looks awesome. Would you be willing to post pics of the shocks/coilovers? I have read about users experiencing "bowing" of the springs with spacers (mine do) and Im curious if the GOATs do the same. Thanks

I know you haven't had this installed for very long but other then the stance/way it looks have you noticed, any, change/s in how it drives mostly at freeway speeds? Any extra or change in wind or road noise that you don't recall being there before?

We have a white RR. Casper is actually my wife's DD and I really like how this looks with the 1.5 lift all around but being that it's the wardens DD I'm pretty sure it'd be an easy sell to lift it, a little, but if it changes how it drives at all or there are any new road/wind noises I'll never hear the end of it no pun intended. Hell I put a couple little HP stickers on those fake hood louvers and the right and left aren't "perfectly" matched in their location to one another and I'm still hearing about that minor little detail.....

Sure I can prob take few shots tomorrow, but they were def bowed/offset when i first removed the shocks, i noticed it right away and it made using the spring compressor alil more interesting, even upon reinstalling with the spacers attached to the top they were still favoring a side some. I wasn't too concerned with it.

Actually I took a decent 45 min highway trip in both directions today and I received the "wife approval", she said she didn't notice any difference in the ride quality which i then explained to her how its just a spacer on top of the fox shocks and doesn't mess with spring rate, compression, rebound, etc. Even with it only being a 1.5" spacer you do notice being higher up for sure, Its nice, Gives more of a full size truck height feel. I feel there's no increase in wind noise either.

Also note that immediately after install I took it for a quick ride around the block to "settle" everything and I did notice it felt different, like as more firm ride. After the ride height re-calibration it was back to normal, I wouldn't skip doing it.

You didn't by chance measure the heights before and after the install did you and if so did it raise it a true 1.5 all the way around or ???

I've installed lots of different lifts all except one were suspension lifts and they are never what they claim. The last one I put on out JLUR was supposed to be 2.5 and it ended up being 3.5 Spacer lifts are a completely different deal so they're usually pretty much whatever the thickness of the spacer is.

Thanks! Yea Im curious about this, it seems to be a consequence of this type of lift, but not necessarily any negative impact? I dont have a depth of knowledge to know how much this matters, hence the question.

This was my understanding too but in a recent thread of mine someone really refuted this. I dont know the correct answer but am curious. I recently installed 1.5" spacers and someone else ordered the same ones and measured them ~1.5" and said that would give much more than 1.5" of lift, on my truck I think that is what I ended up with (happy with it) but I didnt measure the actual spacers beforehand.

Looks good, and I like your approach to the lift. Share some pics after the new wheels/tires installed. Thinking that 285/75 might be a good size, and not too many pics of them on here.

I did not take any pre-install measurements, but i'll take some of the lifted height to compare to yours and kind of get a rough idea, the height between stock trucks can't vary too much right?

If I ever go up to 285/75R17's, I'd do about the same thing, it's not much lift, plus if you run slightly wider off-set wheels, your CG will be back to close to stock (it's not linear, so you do need add slightly more width to off-set increases in height in terms of CG, but with a mild lift and ~1.5" wider track, there's so little change in CG I doubt you could tell).

Keeping that factory rake will also keep the truck handling properly during acceleration and braking or when you have a heavy payload in the bed.

Great work! Looking forward to seeing the 285/75's and new wheels mounted up. I wish there were more Load C options for the 285/75 size. I've never had good luck keeping Load E tires balanced on mid size vehicles.
