Mine did not hit with 34.6x11.6 I later added 1” to rear to get a little rake for towing…and mine are 20” but makes no difference of course

Thanks for the intel, @GiJoesGT. Your rig is looking good!

@nedmo, will 35x11.50s hit at full compression in the rear without any lift?

Currently, I'm running LT285/75R17 (i.e., 33.8"x11.2") K03s on stock rims and plan to use 1.5" spacers in the front to get closer to level (I want to maintain a little rake so when I have the topper and camping gear in the back, the nose doesn't stick up horribly high). But with that said, I'm thinking about increasing tire size to 35x11.50s when the current tires need to be replaced. Thanks in advance.
There is definitely more room in the rear, so its close but i prefer to have more clearance. But, you DO need the 2” lift spacer in the front, which then to maintain rake, you need the 1” rear. So thats why its our recommended setup for 35s.

So, would 285/75R17's clear front and back with only a 1" front spacer? That would still provide a mild rake and clear fronts fenders at full compression, correct? I'm contemplating the "mid setup" since 315/70R18's are 34.5" while 285/75R17's are 34", I'm having a hard time justifying the added weight and width of the larger tires, plus the added ride height.

It was my understanding that 1" for 34's, 2" for 35's up front. Rear as you mentioned has a bit more clearance, so depending on the desired rake, 1" to 1.5" rear at most. For vehicles that tow or sometimes haul heavy payloads, I'd still probably go with factory rake, so 1" front / rear for 34's.

I'm running Method 705's which are ET+35, so slight increase in off set (track width) will mostly cancel out the slight gain in CG for a near factory CG, but with a bit more clearance. I'm thinking this is probably the best general-purpose setup for the RR with the core focus still being higher speed uses.

But that's an awfully tempting setup when I need tires because it's not much change in HW, just front spacers + tires + ride height re-cal. I doubt you'd lose more than 2~3 tenths in the quarter mile with a lightweight wheel + 34" tire setup either, gain a bit more tire cushioning for hard landings, should be able to get proper alignment on stock UCA's.
