Yes, I did write something about that. I had to shave it down. I did it with scissors, if you have a utility knife and a steady hand it will be easy enough.
After some careful reading, I don't think I explained myself well enough.
I do understand now that the piece that you were talking about shaving was the part of the add-a-fuse that goes into the fuse box. That's actually not the piece I was talking about not being able to get fit correctly.

I was actually talking about trying to connect the Yellow ACC wire from the power adaptor (with a 0.25" male end) to the micro3 add-a-fuse (with likely a .187" female end).

I've been going back and forth with Wolfbox and then just want me to tape it together, but that seems like a really sketchy idea.

I'm just wondering if you ended up stripping and splicing them together or perhaps cutting off the connector on the add-a-fuse and adding on a .25 female end?

I didn't strip any wires... I was able to just use the connectors that came with the add a fuses. Go to home depot and buy some connectors and some shrink tubing and that will work. Would not recommend just taping them together.
