Be careful! To a lot of people on here, it’s more important to prove me wrong and spread misinformation than it is to spread factual information with evidence that backs it up.
They might start blocking/ignoring you now too.
no one at any point disagreed that replacing the factory fox shocks with a Fox upgrade package wouldnt be the best option. But, they arent available, so its a moot point and then you have to
Pick the next big thing.

Also, i can almost gaurantee that the upgraded shock package will have a longer open length, which is essentially the same outcome as using a strut top spacer, meaning Fox themselves are OK with increasing the max droop and adding angle to the steering and CV.

also, will be be $9k upgrade, minimum. So alot of moolah for something that isnt able to increase wheel travel by any significant numbers.

hi all,

i do overland/touring stuff and a fair amount of rock crawling, mainly to get to hard to reach sites. i've already beat the hell out of the underside of the truck more than i ever wanted to doing trails in southern california ...so looking at lift options.

i've pretty much read this thread front to back, and i haven't seen much discussion outside of leveling and technical aspects. i understand there are tradeoffs with all the options listed in the thread.

i'm thinking about doing the max lift RPG perch collar setup @ 3" front and rear. i just want clearance, which this truck definitely doesn't have stock, all other considerations are secondary. keeping factory rake is fine, since i always load the bed w/ about 500 lbs of crap anyway.

i guess my question is this: is there any extra downside to also lifting the rear? is it all the same considerations as collars in the front? is 3" too much for this kind of lift considering ride quality tradeoffs? does premature shock wear increase the more you lift? i'm no engineer.

It sure does. Any change to ride height, regardless of method, requires recalibrating the ride height sensors for optimal performance of suspension and other systems in the car.
By what method should the recalibration take place

So I went to SEMA 2024 last year and spoke with FOX. They showed me the platform that is coming for the R/R and was amazing, it is a plug in play aftermarket OEM fit just like you said. There also releasing a FOX UCA. I will attached the 2024 F150 Raptor's new shock. IT will look just like this,

Any update on this?

Thanks.

I called a month or so and asked for an update and they told me the are “working” on it. So no clue. You can go to the website and go to: contact us, go to truck and they will send you to the guy that you can ask.

So our spacers fit both the Gen 1 Ranger Raptor (which the US did not get) and the 2022+ Next Gen Ranger Raptor. The Gen 1 has a poorer factory UCA design which does contact the coil mount at full droop with the 2in spacer, damaging the arm and potentially causing a catastrophic failure, so that message is for that model.

For the 2022+ Next Gen Ranger Raptor, the UCA does not hit the coil bucket, so the billet UCA is not necessarily required. But, the wheel alignment that is achievable on the factory UCA with a 2in lift is only passable. Our adjustable UCA gives the ability to achieve a perfect wheel alignment, improving handling and tyre life.
If running 35x11.5R17 on a 17x8.5 +35mm offset wheel, is it possible to get a good alignment running your 1.5” front / 1” rear lift kit with factory UCA or do I need the 32mm strut spacer 2” lift kit up front to fully offset the radius increase of the 35” tires? Wasn’t planning on buying UCA but I suppose if the wheel alignment is only passable with stock UCA I may have no choice if I want to run this size tire. 2025 Ranger Raptor.

I looked at all these posts, and it solidifies my thoughts on lift kits and level kts. I guess I have never understood them at all. My truck as is, OEM, in my opinion is perfect. Anything you do to that suspension has associated short and/or long-term risk. You cannot think that years or decades of engineering that goes into these trucks can be modified by a back yard mechanic and be better lol. Yes, for you that do it for the looks and are willing to pay the price for any negative risk, good for you, but most of those same guys never leave the pavement or have money to burn and care less about the long-term effects. Just my .02. It even makes less sense for the guys arguing about the RR suspension, which I think Ford did an amazing job on.
