Added hood struts/lifts to my 2025 STX from Amazon. No flex. Very pleased. Going to get them for my son’s 2025 XLT too.

I’m not telling anyone what to buy, I’m just expressing what works for me. I have spent plenty of money on name brand parts for my truck. This time I chose a good quality item at a significantly lower price. I can’t understand why some folks reply as if they’re offended. I don’t get upset if someone installs something on their truck that’s a different brand than what I have. I’m happy for all of you and what you have done to your Rangers.

I am updating my opinion of the Redline Tuning. I think the hood was raised and lowered 2 times since installation and that was just to test the installation.

I went out today to install my new grill lights and after lifting the hood, I found the driver side Redline Tuning gas spring wouldn't budge and ripped the hardware off the bottom of the hood when it was raised. I took the entire driver side off and it is clear the gas spring failed as it won't move at all.

I am over the Amazon return window by 9 days.

Contact Redline. They will send you the replacement parts at their expense. I have their strut kit on my Mustang. 14 years and counting and still working fine.

I have already done that and working with someone. I am impressed with their customer service and receiving a reply on a Sunday night.

I added them to both the RR and The Bronco Sport, love them.
Also added start stop eliminate on both vehicles. And on the RR fix it so you can have high beam and fog lights at the same time..

The Redline team was able to resolve my issue and replacing the bad driver side part. They also worked with me on another install mistake I made on the passenger side. I am so impressed with their responses and help.
