Thanks. I had ordered a Lariat decked out as close as I could without committing to a Raptor when the employee pricing was in effect. My choices were to wait it out, or to settle for something less than what I ordered. Then I remembered the words of a wise man from the 80s…

Y’know, Curtis Armstrong and Tom Cruise were right. Therefore, I got the Raptor.

Ordered mine May 10th, got my VIN May 18th, hit the production line on July 11th and finished on July 18th. Shipped 19th and took delivery July 30th.
Desert Sand Lariat, black appearance, step bar, tow package and spray on bedliner. Replaced my 2020 Lariat. Loving this truck!

My dealer said today it's waiting for its final inspection before being shipped..

XLT with some options and the spray on bedliner too :/

I places a order 3/29 and it was built last month 7/9. Web sight shows in production, dealer shows on shipping hold. The only options are graphics and mudflaps. Any Idea what's going on?

That’s the same thing that happened to mine. In fact it still shows that it’s “in production” on the site, and the dealer portal shows it “on hold”.

I would recommend going to the “Contact Us” section on the Ford.com homepage, then accessing the Chat, then immediately ask for a real person, and they’ll send you to an agent. Your agent should be able to at least tell you if upfit has been completed.

If the hold is because of a quality issue I may have second thoughts on getting it depending on what' the problem is. Any problem that takes over a month to fix could be serious...

No update on mine (in fact I just checked). I’ll be passing on it though because I bought a RR built three weeks after the Lariat that I ordered. Maybe I’m just a bit paranoid, but the lack of transparency made me uncomfortable about that specific truck. Also, I was up against a wall because I had already sold my Mustang and was without transportation.

Mine finished getting built in June, after a long time "in production," probably on a QC hold if I had to guess. Then shipping took another 20 days or so. These kinds of delays seem pretty typical from what people are posting. The lack of detailed information is frustrating while you are waiting, though.

I think (or at least hope) i am in the same boat - I put down a deposit to buy (what I thought was) an already built RR, and was told it would be delivered 8/12. Come 8/10, I get text from my sales rep that it would be delayed “a couple days.” I show up to dealership 8/12 and they tell me it’s on QC hold in Michigan, but still showing expected delivery date still 8/12.

The dealership told me they are overhauling their QC process and so maybe this summer batch is undergoing their new QC process. Another hypothesis they have is that they are fixing the brake boost issue. They are waiting to hear back from their internal customer service line.

I tracked the order number down from the window sticker and through the website found out that the truck is still being built!

Here is a good one. Mine was scheduled for production on 8/8. I have been calling Ford and watching the site. All was supposed to be fine. This morning the site is updated that the in production date was now 8/13. No notice, no news yesterday on the call, just pooooooffffff overnight, it got pushed back a week. I am still sticking with Halloween delivery. And so it goes.

Odd, min just changed to built on 8/13/2025, the "in production date" was 7/9/2025.
