I also noticed in my app and a my local dealership had called me I did not purchase from them. They made an appointment for Monday to come to me, I asked if I could just swing by and was told they would need to keep it all day. I went to see if I can do it myself and says I have no update. I really hate dealing with this dealership they suck and the lady on the phone was rude to that's why I went two hours away to purchase the truck and now sucks that this is the only one I have locally

The hand from the dealer came at 210 pm and was done and gone by 230. That's a lot better than leaving it there all day.

I see the recall also on the app. I’m at 8400 miles and have had zero issues. Going to have the recall dealt with at my 10,000 mile service.

Waiting for my ProCal tuner to arrive, then I'll take it in and get it all done.

Exactly not sure why it would take them all day, really hate going to my local dealer its always a headache with them. Last time i went by because i noticed bolts missing from the plastic lower silver bumper plastic piece so i had asked if i can have it fixed they wanted to charge me! I was like no its a brand new truck it should not be missing parts! ended up noticing that they took it out of my rewards points. Now this recall and customer service was rude with a attitude

Agree it shouldn't take all day. That's probably because it sits and waits for hours to do 30 minutes of work. So if I'm given the option I use the mobile service every time. I've bought 4 trucks from this dealer and they always provide me with great service, but even they can take a while sometimes if I have to take it in. Also the update isn't done OTA but with a computer hooked up to the truck.

I am at Balise Ford in Wilbraham, MA getting the brake booster recall done now. The service manager said that I was the first he had seen for this recall and he wondered if they even had the fix yet. He searched and found that they were prepared. He showed me on his computer screen that the update should take 40 minutes at the dealership, and 1 hour if done remotely. I am waiting at the dealership. I picked up an FL2127 oil filter while I am here ($13.50 with tax) as my Ranger 2.3 is approaching 3k miles. I should have changed it sooner. I know…

That's how a lot of dealers operate now, they want to keep everything all day so they can make scheduling adjustments at their convenience to suit their needs. That's one thing I'm not looking forward to buying a new truck. When I had the brake switch recall done on my F350 I waited 4 hours in the waiting room and when I finally got the reluctant girl to check on it she came back and said "They just finished it" . Then when one of the techs brought it around I said something to him about it and he said "Oh it's been ready for 2 hours"
