Yep, looks like that one was made in June with a blend date of, 06/16/25.

I am really curios what they did different between trucks built 7/29 and prior vs ones built 7/30 and later. Different air bag , protective sleeve of some sort???

i drive my 24 model RR everyday, and not loosing any sleep over this recall.

they had a stop sale on mavericks in december and january too. i was test driving mavericks for months, seeing what i liked and didn't like and then went to actually get one the day after christmas and they told me they couldn't sell them because of a recall. i test drove a ranger and liked it so much more so i got one.

those recalls are affecting sales for ford so i bet they are terribly unhappy about it

Might work to your advantage. If they have a bunch of vehicles that can't be sold, MAYBE when they are released, they will want to make a deal.
Or, tell them that you are willing to wait, IF they make you a great deal now.

Well so far any of the stop sale trucks the dealers don't want to bid my Land Rover Defender without any idea when they can make the deal happen. Being told the used market is to volitile to put out a long-term bid on a high-end vehicle like that.

So far, I do now have one deal that works for me that came back this morning.
With truck that is in transit, that is past the stop sale BS so I can have it when it lands.

I have one or two other I am wanting to see the trade dollars on before pulling the trigger.

I think I got a trade deal made on this one today.
Blend date of 08/24 so I am guessing it is at least a couple weeks out before delivery.
Has Bead lock wheels I didn't want and no bed liner that I did want but the trade numbers looked good, so I agreed to make the deal.
It is still in transit so who knows for sure when it will arrive. LOL
But at least it is fresh enough to be sellable.

Anyone else running into this issue?
I have reached out to multiple dealers showing a White RR in stock only to find they can't sell it.
What a PIA over a potential issue if you happen to take an impact in just right spot that an air bag could tear.
You could take an impact in just the right spot and no matter what the air bags do you could still get hurt or killed. Seems a bit excessive action over what was described as the potential issue.
Just got my recall notice today, Ford does not have a fix . Est. 4th quarter

Yea, I am expecting to get my notice on my 2024 RR any day.
I am not going to worry about it.
I will probably wait and see how the repair goes for others before I get to excited about taking mine in, once they get the fix figured out. I am assuming it will involve taking a lot of the interior trim apart to gain access to it.

So you bought out of State? If so, how do they work the sales tax, given KS has personal property tax by county? Do you not pay it and will then do so at KS county registration? Also, do you have to get the vehicle VIN inspected by your county? Asking because I see a potential deal in another State since my sales manager is FOHA in dealer trading for several Rangers I would take built July 30 or later, or even keeping me informed as to what they are doing. If you want a spray in liner, there might be a Line-X dealer at the city you are purchasing in and you might get that done and even under coating and rust proofing before delivery. My dealer has done that much for me in the past but now our local Line-X dealer has closed and switched to Phoenix out of Texas. Never heard of them but I also have Premium Rhino available. Great you could get a deal.

Yes, the new Truck is in NE.

Actually, I have a home in Oklahoma as well as KS, which is where all my vehicles are titled.

TTL will take place at the OK tag office.

Which I think OK recently started allowing for trade in differences, which I am trading an $80K vehicle for $60K vehicle, so TTL should not run more than $100 or so, since I technically am trading down in value.

I have bought vehicles out of state, from all over the US many times.
I have found that some states back east will insist on handling the TTL process for you, even though that is not how it is typically done in OK, but I have always made whatever the regulations for the selling dealer work without much if any issues.

So I am currently shopping for a RR and found out about the stop sale about a week ago. Of course all the ones I was looking at were part of the recall or had already been spoken for.

Luckily there was a deal that fell through the last second as the buyer couldn’t secure a co signer. It had all the options I wanted and they gave me EXACTLY what I wanted for my trade PLUS about a grand off the truck. I go pick it up tomorrow.

What’s super scummy is the dealers that had colors or options I didn’t want and weren’t part of the recall, they immediately saw an opportunity to rip people off and raised their prices AT LEAST $5k over sticker. That is absolutely ridiculous and all these dealers were willing to sell at MSRP before the stop sale to move the truck but now are taking advantage of people shopping for a RR.

This is why I can’t stand stealerships.

Yea, I even had some dealers that were still wanting 5K over even on the ones that were caught up in the stop sale. Just step right up and give us a deposit and we will get the truck to you soon as Ford comes up with a fix, sometime late 4th quarter was their best guess. LOL

The one I ended up buying and is outside the stop sale dates, is possibly arriving at the dealership today. It was showing to be on transport and scheduled to get delivered today.

I too got 500 trade assistance and 500 discount for something else, total $1000 under MSRP. LOL

I used Auto trader and pulled a search for a 300 mile radius of my Zip for the color I wanted and started firing off emails till I found one that could be sold, and one a dealer that would give me a decent price on my trade.

Getting pretty stoked about it. I don't know why since I drive my 2024 RR every day, but still looking forward to the new build.
