this is how I turned off the start stop on my Raptor 2023

Disable Auto Start-Stop	BdyCM	726-48-02	x*xx-xxxx-xxxx	*=0
BMS Configuration	BdyCM	NON-ASBUILT	BMS Configuration	PWM
Auto Stop Start	IPC	NON-ASBUILT	Auto Stop Start	Disable
Battery Target State of Charge, %	BdyCM	NON-ASBUILT	Battery Target State of Charge, %	100%

What are these different BMS configurations? There seems to be "none", "LIN" and "PWM"

I changed those parameters, and it looks like ASS is not longer working (so, the solution worked). I did it this morning, and during today's commuting, the ASS was not activated. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Is there a way to make the adaptive cruise control automatically use the current speed limit as the target speed when engaged?

Always the first time you turn it on the truck locks at your current speed and you have to manually use the rocker switch to get up to the speed limit...not a big deal but it seems to me a no brainer when you have speed sign recognition enabled it should initially target that speed.

does other manufacturer's cruise system do that? thats super cool if they do.

i have a mazda3 with the sign recognition (i guess it has it, the speed limit signs show up on the screen) but i still have to adjust my cruise like you are saying, with the buttons on the steering wheel

EU Ranger Raptor has that feature, so there must be a way to make it work.
You can switch it on/off in Sync in EU RR.

Sorry for the spam.. but I can NOW confirm that it worked!... no ASS in my truck. The indicator is still shown in the IPC (because I did not remove it), but it is never "green".. so it shows ASS is on standby, but it gets never "activated"... So. that is great.

I have also configured the turn lights to keep on as DRL following the instructions shared here, and it worked as well.

I am trying to enable staying in same drive mode after engine restart.
IPC has " Selectable Drive Mode" what does it do, any experience?

I tried to do that also. Even turning off normal, it still started in normal mode.

Same where, no ASS for 3 days so far
BMS Configuration PWM
Battery SOC 100%

Still, it does not charge more than about 85%-86%, even during long drive Just current gets down to 2-3A.
Any idea, why it does not get better than that, even SOC is set to 100% ?
