thanks. my son and i were bringing it back from the dead when my son ended up getting order to another state. its an 84 318i. that one came with a dead engine and we had an identical, though super rusty, one that ran great so we swapped everything and it was going good except the cold start valve was no good. so i messed around and messed around and didn't want to pay the crazy price for an aftermarket one that may work for a year, or a used one that who knew how good it was so i decided to put a 1602 intake and weber carb on it. it ran great one time and lost spark since then so i have been playing around with it trying to find out why it has no spark.

i am currently waiting for a decent day since the ignition tune up stuff came in the mail the other day.

i have had one other 84 318i and it was trouble free. other than that, i always had 325i or 325e/ super E cars which i would buy for 100 or 150 and bring back from the dead. i have probably had 20 e30s over the years since i also raced them in scca solo2 racing.

way back in the day, i was one of the main guys on e30tech (before it went down) and am still also on revlimited, plus, of course, bimmerforum.

Oh my, a word construction engineer. Lol Actually the words are semantically related. Since nothing was there, they are technically installation of something that is applied. I used both terms when installing graphics back when. Painting graphics is what? Lol
