Have a 2024 Ranger XLT 4x4 , 2.7 v6.
I have stock cloth seats. They are reasonable comfortable but not so on longer trips .
Don‘t want to go the leather upgrade .
No kids or dogs
Must look factory ….tight fitting .
Would be doing just the two front seats.

Find a local upholstery company that uses Katzkin leather seats. I have the same truck and the dealer had mine sent out. I paid 2k for the seats and install. I have driven to Washington and back to cali without any backpain, sit bone pain.

I know you said no leather but I am telling you i had no pain!! Could you find some seat covers that go over your cloth seats that add extra padding? Sure..but I have not tested those out..

Katzkins are Def worth it!

To add to this. They tear your cloth out and install leather. Heated seats still work as normal with leather.

I'm kind of in the same boat and being tall and a long torso makes the options somewhat limited. In what sense are you uncomfortable, I mean is it your lower back, upper back? your butt? Is it the way the factory design kind of forces you to curve forward? The lumbar support too low? Do you have the power seats?

The seats are more comfortable than the ones on my TDI were but not nearly as comfortable as the ones on my F-350 were. There is just not enough room for thicker padding and still have headroom. If the roof were even one inch taller I could raise the seat one more inch which relieves a lot of butt pain on long drives.

I'm experimenting with options and maybe others will chime in and we can share.

katskinz will not improve the seat if its bothering you. They only change the fabric has nothing to do with the shape of the seat which is the actual problem. The problem for me is the seat tapers back to much and the side bolstering creates way to much pressure on the back of my Hamstrings. I’m hoping to eventually try and swap in an F150 seat, Mustang seat or see if an upholstery place can create a new bottom cushion and match the fabric to look similar to stock

Yeah i'd agree with this if its the shape of the seat or the padding itself. In my old XJ I have used lumbar support mesh and a wedge pad to sit on and that helped out a lot.

You never stated what type of discomfort you are having but I had a problem with seat comfort as well. Lower back pain. I added the Desert Does It seat jackers under the front of the seat. At first I put both risers in (3/4") that made a pinch point under the back of my knee creating numbness. So I took one out so it was only 3/8" rise. Now the seat is perfectly comfortable. It doesn't sound like much but it made a huge difference for me.

I came here to share the same info. I am 6'4" and added the Seat Jackers. It lifted the front of the seat enough that it made a two hour drive painless.
