Hoping someone who’s good with Forscan can work this, hear me out:

When I turn the truck on, I want the settings to be steering - comfort, suspension - Baja, Exhaust - Sport, AND NO, I don’t want to sacrifice the R Button/Mode to do it. That button is set solely for being a bit silly or getting ready to hoon it off the lights.

Now I reckon this can be done for the following reason. If I get out the truck and run into the shops (it’s turned off and locked), within a set time, I get back in and everything is as I left it.

I’m wondering is there a timer within Forscan that you can adjust so that the driving settings stay the same as when you get out. So the settings stay as is, for let’s say 20 Hours? Similar to leaving the Auxillary power going, you can change the seconds so they stay on for hours…

Wouldn't you want the R button for how you drive most often?

I've never used my R button, is that what people use it for?

Yes the double pressing of the R button is to customize your most preferred driving set up. I have it configured to turn off auto start - stop feature, normal exhaust, sport suspension and sport steering.

This has also been asked and answered multiple times here. To the best of my knowledge, no one has found forscan settings to override default settings. The predominant thought is it because of EPA MPG ratings.

When you state it goes into your last mode automatically after short duration of being off, you are incorrect. After a short duration it allows you to return to last mode by clicking YES at startup. It often is there at the same time as seat belt notification if you haven’t disabled that. It will only turn to last mode defaults. If you selected slippery with exhaust and steering modified and then hit yes on startup, it will return truck to slippery but without exhaust and steering changes.

We’re lucky we have the R button to quickly go to a preset. Non Raptors don’t even have that.

if I leave it normal and have adjusted all the steering, suspension and exhaust to different settings, it will return that way without having to press ‘YES’. I’m asking is there a timer that you can adjust as it’s obviously counting how long I’m out the truck before reverting everything back to the defaults in Normal Mode.

I do love a forum though, everyone has to throw in their two cents when it’s not what i asked…
