265/70/18 Michelin LTX Trail tires on 2025 Lariat FX4

I drove 3 days with the Michelins and made Discount take them off and refund my money. Was getting a pretty good vibration at 55 plus mph. They balanced them 3 times and it did not go away. I put 400 miles on them in 3 days. Not sure what I’m putting on there next, but back to stock for now, lots of driving this week.

Was looking for a 90% street tire and came across these on Tire Rack for $176 each. So I called my local Discount Tire and they matched it plus there was an $80 instant rebate on Michelins, so with certs and everything, $777 out the door. No rubbing anywhere, plenty of room near the UCA, run quiet and smooth. 37lbs per tire was a bonus. Would have just ponied up for LTX M/S2's, but at this price I couldn't pass them up. Level kit was supposed to go on this morning at Ford, but the threads were messed up on the spacers so they had to order another and it will go on tomorrow...I'll post followup pics with the level. Thought someone might want to snatch the same deal!

Looks good! Really civilized tire so good for the road and you probably won't miss the M/S2 which is marginally better in winter since you're in GA.

Ah, I lived in Forsyth for a few years. I remember a good ice storm and snowmageddon but that's it.

I have run Mich LTX M&S on my last 3 trucks and loved them. Quiet, Smooth and 80K miles no problem. I put a set of the Defender LTX M&S 2's on our Jeep Grand Cherokee and hated them. Noisy and (as you said) wouldnt balance. I also got a refund from Discount tire. They have changed that tire for the worse. You can see the outer corners have more sipes in them.

Love the Coopers Discoverer R and T A/T 255/70/18 116T. 3 mountain peak tires. Quiet on the road and good traction on snow and ice. 1.5 lift in front and 1 in rear.

Yes, leveling kit and stock tires = no vibration. I put the Michelins on before the level kit anyways.
