I was FURIOUS when I found out the 2022 Lariat that I had ordered was so damn de-contented which included deleting the engine cover.... you could still buy one afterward if you wanted to, but, the "flagship" Lariat model no longer came with one standard... That's how Ford works...they keep deleting the nice stuff from the Ranger until nobody wants them anymore then they claim "oh, the Ranger doesn't sell enough for us to spend any money on it anymore"....I like the smaller one on the left, the one on the right makes me think it’s a hybrid or something, which I am not really a fan of.
I am all for cleaning up and improving the appearance under the hoods of these trucks.
I really mis the sculpted engine covers that hide the rats nest of wires, tubes and hoses going every which direction. I cringe a little every time I open the hood and see that mess. Lol
I am sort of surprised with all the elaborate 3D printing going on of different stuff, no one has tried to make an engine cover for some of these vehicles that the OEMs have skimped on and skipped putting engine covers on.
Headed your way. FYI large cover, 19 hour print.I love them, and if different colour options would come up I’d be curious to see those too.
I'd probably go RIGHT on both. I like the smaller one better. Would probably prefer to see the same patter as that one but on the larger cover.Myself and a few others have broken tabs on the fuse box covers.
Some you even have to buy the whole box.
Any interest in colored covers?
our engine bays are a little bland. So would you swipe left or right on these?

I don't like it, I LOVE IT! The nerd in me finds it hilarious and the "office / nerd humor" is always one of the better parts of one's job, life or even hobbies. It just goes along with the "Jurassic Park" theme that the Raptor has kinda been grafted into. See, I do similar things in my old 1950's era ranch style dino-pen:Myself and a few others have broken tabs on the fuse box covers.

where do you think the idea came from.......I don't like it, I LOVE IT! Volunteer Boy: "That doesn't look very scary. More like a six-foot turkey."
Dr. Alan Grant: "A turkey, huh? OK, try to imagine yourself in the Cretaceous Period. You get your first look at this 'six foot turkey' as you enter a clearing. He moves like a bird, lightly, bobbing his head. And you keep still because you think that maybe his visual acuity is based on movement like T-Rex - he'll lose you if you don't move. But no, not Velociraptor. You stare at him, and he just stares right back. And that's when the attack comes. Not from the front, but from the side, [makes 'whoshing' sound] from the other two raptors you didn't even know were there. Because Velociraptor's a pack hunter, you see, he uses coordinated attack patterns and he is out in force today. And he slashes at you with this...[he produces raptor claw from his pocket] A six-inch retractable claw, like a razor, on the the middle toe. He doesn't bother to bite your jugular like a lion, say... no no. He slashes at you here, or here...
[he lightly 'slashes' across the kid's body with the raptor claw]"
Dr. Ellie Sattler: "Oh, Alan..."
Grant: "Or maybe across the belly, spilling your intestines. The point is, you are alive when they start to eat you. So you know, try to show a little respect."
Volunteer Boy: "OK."
[Alan leaves the now slightly frightened kid]
