I saw this one while looking online the other day. Theres a video on there with the sound clip. Its the first full exhaust option ive seen with the equal length pipes. They made the loop up closer to the turbo and sounds pretty good. I bit on the expensive side but not crazy compared to something like milltek and apg down pipes. I think shipping and import fees would be crazy though

Maybe I’m crazy but it sounds like if you added a loop and some bullet resonators pre-muffler.

Update after a lot of driving. I’ve noticed some 2K rpm drone anytime on throttle. Or taking off from a light and all my gear shifts are at 2K. I’n going back to stock instead of adding a helmholtz. I could do resonators to help some of the noise and the top end rasp, but just going to wait till someone makes something better.

Update: Removed, sounds better now. Not the actual tone, but driving it everyday improved. Tone sounds stock, bad. The trombone gave me a booming noise at 1900-2300 taking off from any stop, passing on the freeway, and any mode on the freeway besides quiet was annoying. Also the high RPM rasp was way louder than stock, it sounded so bad above 5K in any mode to me.

The loop added low frequency noise that was almost fully tuned out by the stock system. ~100hz is my guess. To combat this, you’d need a helmholtz around 31” long (depending a lot of factors), which I didn’t care to do.

My advice is wait until SPD releases their muffler paired with the trombone, and a helmholtz, and maybe resonators. Not hating but wanted to share my experience with sensitive ears.

How long was your loop installed? All of those issues went away after a few months of driving.

Almost a month, but I drove it a few thousand miles. I heard it in the beginning and it just got worse over time for me. Beats me, I’m fine with the stock till SPD’s setup comes.

I’m new to the ranger raptor world here. Are there any companies that make an equal length exhaust for the RR? It doesn’t appear there is, and from what I saw on here it sounds like the DIY version means more drone than we already get from the factory
