Factory Spray-In Bed Liner

Every time I poke around to see what's out there for new 6G, I can never find one that has the factory bed liner. I know if I ordered one I could probably get it, but why does it seem so rare on new ones? There's no one near me that does it either.

If you are even a little DIY, maybe check out a roll on bedliner kit. It's not a very complex process, or maybe buy a bed mat. Just some ideas.

all the dealers near me have the spray in bed liners. i think it just depends on what your local dealer thinks they can sell

mine was a dealer stock order. And my dealer orders all their trucks with bed liner, if you dont want liner, you have to order it.

My Dodge truck came with the spray in bed. My Ranger didn't so I went to a place called Truck DogZ and they did the spray in bed. If you get a bed mat a rubber one can make it difficult pulling items in or out.

Some dealers do them in house for added profit.

They do add a couple weeks to the lead time on the trucks for the MFG to do it.
Ford does not do them in the plant; they outsource them to nearby facility that does them.

Huh, most all dealers have a connection as most offer it, surprised you have nothing near you. Rhino or Linex???? Plus several third party that use good products.

No Rhino or Linex, but I did just find a place called Patriot Liner about 45 minutes from me. Looks like my best option, if and when I do pull the trigger on a 6G.

I went bulletproof, and the closest authorized installer was an hour away in Albuquerque. I just camped out at a coffee shop for a few hours.

most the products used are about the same, it is more about the prep. Make sure they do a light sanding prior to spraying, and you should be fine, then I would suggest a Ford OEM bed mat on top of that for non-slip, and you will be rocking it.

Yeah, a supply issue with the liner added two months to order in early 2025.

Yea, I have heard of that sort of thing happening.
Likely why some dealers don't order it even when they don't offer it in house.
