2024 Ranger Raptor:
I'm looking into a few "upgrades" like a new throttle body, throttle body spacer and intake manifold spacer.
I have the FP tune, AFe charge pipes, SB cold air intake, Cobb intercooler and resonator delete exhaust tips so far...
Boomba has a intake manifold spacer kit which includes a throttle body spacer.
AFe has a larger 65mm throttle body available.
(links below).
Anybody installed any of these?
lastly, I can't believe I'm asking this; is it a waste of time and money?

I'm extremely skeptical of the power claims with the spacers, and the price is insane for what they are. The minimal plenum volume that they are adding would be vastly overshadowed by a pound of boost being added, and the minimal change to runner length would only adjust the helmholtz resonance by a couple hundred rpm. I don't see any way that they are getting 21hp at the top end by adding length

I'm waiting to break in my engine before I get to my ported TB and intake manifold spacer.

which ported TB? Afe?
They don't sell ported. They just sell an oversized one. Mine was done by MaxBore at 64.5mm , which is the exact size of the manifold. 65mm will cause a bit of a mismatch and turbulence by having the manifold be a lip.

Do they just machine an OEM throttle body?

Who? MaxBore? Yes, and they venturi it. Unfortunately the owner passed away a few years ago. I saved mine from my 2019 because it's the same.

Eh. I remember these things were all the rage in the 2000s. Reminds me of everyone rushing to get their 3/4 race cam, high rise manifolds, and Cherry Bombs.

I'd question the efficacy and wonder if money would be better spent elsewhere.

Bummer.

Has anyone else taken up his mantle? Had this on my 2.7L Bronco and it (plus the Procal tune) definitely helped the throttle response feel better. Don't really care about any HP/torque claims.

Not that I'm aware of but you should be able to find at least one local machine shop that does it.
