There are lots of place to use the Ranger in central Texas, but for a real test, I go to Marble Falls and the HiddenFalls adventure park. Enough trails and differing levels of challenges for noobs to pros.

There is good signage and map, but it’s still big enough to get disoriented (I did 😳). I spent 8 hours there and didn’t even touch the more difficult, pro style rock climbing trails. Can’t wait to go back after a few mods…. Oh, they also have a gun club and shooting range but I didn’t get to checlk it out.

So- Do you have a go to favorite offroad spot?

I have to look mostly for state parks and the trails located therein. Decent amount of them around and some are pretty vast like the Wharton State Forest in South Jersey.

I am typically out on my own property when off-road in my RRs.

Was out on my property working down below the dam, always fun to play around off road with the Raptor.

Although I don't seek out off road challenges for the sake of winning the challenge, I (actually me and spouse) enjoy going places, along travel routes, that require us to drive thru some very rough stuff to get there. For example, I really enjoyed the Land Between the Lakes national park in Kentucky. Lots of long abandoned roadways/paths. Also, since we travel from KC to Denver frequently, we look for odd stuff (off the highways) along the way to break up the monotony. We've found that once you get (going west)past Topeka or Omaha, what they call county highways is many times dirt roads, barely maintained or graveled. Nasty if at all wet. The RRaptor handles that like a champ. Almost buried my 2019 ranger 4x4 a couple years before I got the RRaptor. I haven't found a type of road or weather condition that it can't manage. It's a pleasure to daily drive something like that

I need to find places where I won't get pinstriping on my new truck. We have a lot of jeep trails here but a bit tight for a crew cab pickup, especially if you are not ready for damage yet. I have a jeep for that.

Will likely stick to all weather forest roads and the beach for the time being. One thing the Ranger does well is tow the jeep.

Not my Jeep but I was there that day. Nobody took my picture

How rude of them!!!

I have lots of national forest, BLM and state land around. There’s a wide array of terrain and difficulty levels to choose from here in NW New Mexico. There’s truck is only 2 months old, so I’m not ready to scratch the paint ip on narrow roads yet, but I don’t mind a good hill climb.

I did some offroading there too, loved it, and can't wait to go back. The gun range is nice, you can rent tactical bays!

Not much of an "off road", the road to camp in Waterford, Maine. In winter though, it turns into a bobsled track!
