For people still looking for a cheaper alternative to JL Audio's box (which is out of stock at Crutchfield for me)

Skar Audio is selling used Ranger boxes for cheap on ebay

Bought mine last week, should get it tomorrow.

I'll be installing a Audison APS 10 D which is pretty much the same as which is quite different the shallow Hertz 10" ! Really like the Hertz : 500w RMS, single 2, but it seems to need about 14-15 liters minimum to be happy.

By the way Op, I wishI had the tools and skills to build a harness 20% as nice as yours.
I had pretty much settled everything of my future Audio build (quite intense with dual amps, dsp,complete speakers switch, new wiring to the front...), but the custom amp rack is my nemesis right now.

I think I'm the not arget demographic for Skar products. They seem to be on the power side.

I'm leaning towards SQ. I already have a lot of Audison gear and like the products.

I just purchased the box empty. Personally just looking for empty enclosure to put the sub I want.
JL Audio and Skar complete solutions are not what I'm looking for. In my mind, JL is way too much for what it will bring (1800 CAD here, ridiculous).

It depends on what you like and trying to achieve IMO.

If Skar audio sells it, it probably does fit though.

Skar sub with the cover fits fine.
Im driving mine with a Skar 800.1 amp,and hits harder than I was expecting.
Not disappointed at all with this simple setup

Not yet. Sitting since 3 days at the local warehouse in MTL. No clue what they are up to.

While a 14.2 litre enclosure might be optimum, the MPS 250 S2 is perfectly happy in a smaller enclosure. Been there done it. Sounds excellent.

For those that might want to know, the Aussie Stealthtech box has a volume of 10.5 litres.

Was looking at the amp rack challenge

Not a master metal fabricator, and don't have the tools.

I just generated a 3D model for an amp rack.

Still have to check scale and anchor points positionning but good start.

Might 3D print that.

I’ll also add that the Hertz MPS250 sounds great with the Stealthtech box (which seems close to the Skar and JL box). Went off the OPs recommendation and it sounds great to me. The sub is paired with Audison amps, Hertz speakers and a PAC interface in a complete replacement system.

Do it! Id buy one well I'd like the American Labs piece but it's too rich for my blood for that application
