I’m actually considering selling the Golf R. It’s super fun to drive. Manual transmission, APR Stage 2+ tune (480ish HP). I just got it out of the shop after 3 months waiting on a clutch switch from Germany, but I really didn’t miss it much. The RR is just so much fun AND practical.

so how is the night owl topper doing? how long did it take to show up at the house from when you ordered it?

and since you guys put it together, how hard was it to lift it on to the truck?

i am to the point of ordering for a trip we have in may but i am worried it won't show up in time

I sold that topper to a friend and bought a new topper from Nghtowl.
I think it took about 4 months to receive.
It wasn’t difficult to install, but it’s much easier with a lift or 3-4 people.

i knew you had a new one. i was hoping it wasn't 4 months like the company estimates the delivery to be sicne we are leaving in the first week of may

that first one was a trailblazer or an expedition? seems perfect for what i want and need since i don't do any camping or anything that would need an overhead tent. i may do an awning someday, but probably not

I think it was the Trailblazer.

that would give me a way to transport longer pieces of wood (12-18 foot 2x10 and 2x14s) and also corrugated metal for finishing the carport
