Oxygenmask, you need a tailgate mat, I can recommend the Lasfit brand, perfect fit, nice material.
Thanks!
Is it hard plastic or does it have some cushion to it?
I actually considered that brand before choosing the Ford mat.

Very flexible plastic with cush, comes rolled up and reverted to it's shape nicely, all mounting holes nicely molded in, came with a roll of double stick tape but I didn't use, its Ridgid enough to hold to the metal perfectly with screws only, material is about 3/16" thick.

I've heard lineX is twice the thickness of other spray in applications. I would have chosen it if I went that route. But from my experience the Ranger bed mat from Ford is a solid 10 out of 10!

Just buy a horse stall mat from Tractor Supply Company and cut it to length. Works great and has channels in it to let water drain under whatever you are carrying so those items don't sit in it. Super thick (3/8") and $50

Agree on the Lasfit bed mat. Perfect fit, grippy texture and a good value. I have their tailgate mat as well. Very pleased with both.

As many have stated, I prefer triple A bed liner due to the high sides and grippy nature and lasfit tailgate mat. Both brands togther provide the best coverage.

While triple A's bed liner is perfect their tailgate mat still needs work. Holes don't align up, top is a little too tall for tonneau covers.

Thanks for the suggestions. Do any of you using Ford bed mats and tailgate mats also have spray in bedliners ? In case I do a spray in later. Im also considering Ford spray in liner- $1k at my dealer. Im older and wont be doing a lot of hauling, but want to protect the bed when I do.
Your dealer is ripping you off. My dealer did it for $500. It's not brand name like Linex or Rhino, but just as good. Ordering a truck from Ford with the spray liner just adds a couple weeks to delivery, as they have a 3rd party doing it.

I had this bed mat in my '21. The bottom is padded and molded to the bed ribs., easy on the knees when you have to crawl in. Surface is tough and nonskid. It covers the tailgate and covers the gap between the bed and gate to keep stuff from falling through.

I checked with my Linex local dealer. They will do sprayin for
$600
Ill probably go thst route. I also want to protect the back and sides of the bed. Buy a cheap mat later, if needed. I may be hauling a little firewood too.

I got the lasfit bed mat and the tripleAliners tailgate mat, which are pretty much identical material. it is nice that the lasfit bed mat has a lip around the edges, but I don't like how it can pool water and doesn't drain. I wound up cutting the lip off closest to the cab so that it drains. I also have a molle panel on the front of the bed and it wouldn't fit with the lasfit lip.

That said - I think Im going to replace the whole setup with a bedrug impact mat this summer. The lasfit protects the bed from scratching and makes it easy to clean, but it offers virtually no padding and the ridges and lack of drainage are kind of annoying. I think the bedrug is going to be a better solution for my needs.
