Hi all,
I had the new Fox 2.5 coilovers, wheels and tires installed earlier this week and wanted to share how it turned out. First off, *HUGE* shoutout and thanks to @DirtDerrick for helping me source not only the coilovers and rear shocks, but the Nomad wheels as well! He gave me all sorts of great advice and recommendations, was very competitive on price and is frankly quite a great guy. We've had a fun time talking through all of the stuff involved.

The Fox units are as nice as you'd expect, and the ride is quite nice. My goal was to try and maintain the smooth stock ride as much as possible and minimize body roll. So far, so good! I'd say given the extra rubber on the road and different spring rate, it's about as close to feeling stock as possible. I won't be doing any high-speed off roading and tend to drive pretty conservatively all around, so I didn't need to go overboard on stiffness. I had originally opted for the 2.0's for this reason, but Nathan wisely recommended the 2.5's would better handle the V6 and bigger tires and still maintain the ride. He was spot on. I went with 2"of lift to level it out and the only rubbing so far is on my Amazon mud flaps. No problem there.

On the rear, I did the Fox 2.0 (0" - 1.5") shocks. A definite improvement, but we may swap them for the 2.5"s. The truck could use a little more help in the rear, and when it was loaded with tools the other day it did drop just a hair below "level".

For wheels I did the Nomad 504 Field in grey 40. I was hoping for something more bronze or dark grey, but I figured I could coat them. The design is what I was after, going for something of a "1981 Toyota 4x4 pickup" look : ) Now that they're on, I love the color! I think it offsets kinda cool against the Marsh Grey, and it definitely rates high on the "haven't seen that before" scale. I looked at the Bronco Everglades wheels, but don't like the outer rim detail and I've heard they're a bit heavy...
I did Toyo Open Country A/T's 285/70/17 C's. I was talked out of BFG's. by about 22 people and I'm really happy with them so far. They're of course a little noisier than the stock Goodyears, but that's a small price to pay.

I'm super happy with everything so far, hope this all helps anyone considering a similar setup. I was really appreciative of all of the member's posts here as I was planning this out!

Super nice setup! When I get there finances-wise, I'm looking to upgrade in the new shocks-and-shoes department and appreciate you sharing your experience. Most of my searches online have only shown Eibach, Fox, and King to be possible options for a non-Raptor Ranger.

Looks great.
@Old Dawg G I am considering the Dobinsons lift.
I forgot to mention Dobinsons in the list of what I've found so far. That looks like another solid choice. If you happen to pursue that option, I'm quite certain I wouldn't be the only interested in your experience. Thanks.

Thanks all! Yeah @HighDesertRanger they're the 35 offset. I wanted minimal reveal past the fenders and the 35 offset on the 8.5" wheel pretty much nailed it. I like the almost flush profile of the wheel too : ) The installer I work with did an Eibach kit on a 20205 Ranger the week before mine was there, but didn't get a chance to drive both of them enough to compare. I would have been interested in his take.

Your Ranger looks awesome, it really stands out from the rest.
The wheels give it a little of a military look, which I like.
Bookmarked your post for future reference.

Your truck looks great. I’m thinking I’ll go with the fox 2.5 performance series coil over/shocks as well. The performance elite series would be sweet, but they are super pricey.

Yeah, that's part of the "black appearance package". I might not have opted for it, but it was the only Marsh Grey I could find, and I was glad I got it once I saw it. Especially with the shell, the rest of the black features work well.

Be sure and reach out to @DirtDerrick for your Fox stuff when you're ready! He can get Eibach as well.

Love those wheels. Planning to do the same wheel and tire, but in 255/80/17.

That looks awesome. I'm really in between the 2.5s and 2.0 for my truck but definitely planning on installing BDS rear shackles at the same time for the extra inch of rear lift.

Love the wheels.

ICON is releasing their suspension for the Ranger very soon. They used mine as the R&D vehicle. Turned out awesome.
