Congratulations! Should be a great truck.
Now not to throw a wet blanket on it, good luck with the power moon roof. Maybe my experience was abnormal, but I had one on a 2016 F150. One evening it wouldn't close. Took it to the local/worst Ford dealer ever, and was told they could fix it for $3000, or they could get it closed so I don't get rained on for $1000. So now I avoid moon roofs.
Regardless, I bet you'll love your Ranger.

In addition to the Ranger, I own a Jeep JLU. It’s my fifth Wrangler. If I cared about the way people talked about Jeeps, I would never have bought my first one and would thereby have missed out on a LOT of great experiences and memories.

@Simulation Anomaly what status are you at? I had a blend date of April 27th, module data came in the day after, but I'm still stuck at "In Production" as of now.

Curious where you are at? I think we had the same blend

Seems as if my order being in production for a week or so now, has been now marked as on hold. Not sure why, but that is kind of annoying.

Could be waiting for a fix to one of the recent recalls, maybe the seat bolts or A-pillar wiring. When I ordered mine last year, some of the ones in production with earlier dates were on hold waiting for parts. I can't recall which recall it was, though. Mine luckily was started after the fix and shipped a few weeks before the others.

Yeah I've been tracking it for quite some time, the tear tag and PCM modules were populated 2 days after blend date, but still no BCE modules. Not sure if that makes a difference. Curious if others are in the same boat.

Mine has been stuck "In Production" since April 22nd. I stopped by the dealership today May 16th to see if they could shed some light and they basically said the same thing... "it's showing In Production, last updated May 2nd".

Guess I'll just keep checking the order tracker...

Yep I think moonroofs are on hold indefinitely, I am starting to consider other options to be honest. My dealership emailed ford for me (at least that what they told me) so if they say anything I'll update thread

Shocked your dealer didnt reach out to you? Any updates from them? My dealer called me this morning letting me know that Ford reached out to them, and like others said, that the power moonroof is on indefinite production hold. No reason why. Gave me 2 options:

1. Wait and see if it comes back into production. No timeline or guess whatsoever.

2. Alter the order to remove the sunroof, keep agreed upon purchase price minus the sunroof option.

Thinking I should just continue without the sunroof. But I've driven vehicles with a sunroof for 15 years now and use it all year long... so kind of bummed and not sure what to do.

Wanted to post an update:

I reached out to Ford corporate and they had zero additional information. Only could confirm that moonroofs on Rangers are on hold indefinitely. Seems like a very odd thing for a company to do, right? Hype up a new feature for 6+ months, finally allow orders of it a month or two ago, and now months later are rescinding it?

That tells me either A, major quality issues identified with the sunroof, and/or B, maybe no issues with QC but they are having trouble sourcing some sort of component.

I would think if B were true, and it was only an expected delay of 1-2 additional months, theyd continue to allow orders to go through. I can only assume that since I was called about my order, that the power moonroof either is very much delayed (4-6+ months?) or is not coming at all.

Ended up continuing with my Ranger order, minus the Power Sunroof.
Super bummed about it but the addition of the power rear window helps make up for it a bit. I smoke cigars in the car so need some sort of ventilation!

Anyway, since they were in there and modifying the order, I asked them to add the Integrated Box Side Steps that I missed out on ordering originally. They obliged! So I lost a sunroof but got the side steps at least
