2024 Ranger Raptor- Rifle Storage: Options and Opinions

I have some friends that use the overhead racks and they really like them. I just can't get used to the idea of the rack failing while I'm using the RR for what it was designed for and getting a gun whacking me in the head while I'm driving.

The behind the seats is a good idea but since a RR driver's seat moves back and forth as you start and stop I'm wondering if that would work.

By the way do you have a link for the ones that hang behind the front seats?

What do you mean "a RR driver's seat moves back and forth"? In over 2 years the only time mine has moved is if I adjust it.

My drivers seat does not move when I start and stop. So is there something wrong with my seat? Or yours? Or, are you meaning the driver's seat moving back when the truck is shut off and moving forward when started?

Saw some seat covers online a while back that had a scabbard built in that went full length across the back of the front seats.
Sorry can't remember what company.

My idea was to buy a Molle panel for the bulkhead of the bed of the truck and mount it on some of those rubber c-clamp style mounts. This method definitely isn’t fast access though especially since I have a roll up bed cover.

Having 2 50% Karga shelves in my Raptor
How about hanging the rifle off the front of the shelf down at the floor
or attach a locking clip attached to the legs of the Karga shelf
Would not be visible that low in the back seat.

Turn off Easy Entry/Exit setting. Only fat people need it.

Never specified if it's a semi-auto or bolt gun? Either way it's a boredom scenario, so how about getting a gun that better fits? Eg I've got a DTA SRS that's like 31" with a 16" barrel. But heavy pig even with a Proof CF barrel. Manners makes folding stocks for bolt guns.
