I believe that is based on the limitations of the tires. That the speed limiter is still 108 mph.

Don't care. Still want it removed. And aren't they speed rated S at 112? That's my only issue.I believe that is based on the limitations of the tires.
...wish to drive a RR >108mph for what reason?Don't care. Still want it removed. And aren't they speed rated S at 112? That's my only issue.
Cause it's a free country....wish to drive a RR >108mph for what reason?![]()
They should've given it to you or they just didn't get it from the guy who traded it in. I believe they do log the VIN in their database when a truck has it installed. You can't flash back to stock or modify without it. Each tool is locked to the VIN as well.I purchased a used '24 RR with 8K miles that dealership claimed had the Ford Tune installed, but I did not get the "install device." Do I need it to make adjustments, or access the tuning capabilities?
And the vehicle is no longer eligible for the Ford extended warranty. They should've given it to you or they just didn't get it from the guy who traded it in. And I assume I can't purchase another one since it's tied to the VIN?They should've given it to you or they just didn't get it from the guy who traded it in. You could buy one i suppose but if you're fine with it at the moment I'd just leave it. I haven't used mine since it was installed. And I assume I can't purchase another one since it's tied to the VIN?
The dealership was negligent in selling the vehicle without the programmer. And I assume I can't purchase another one since it's tied to the VIN?
Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback! I'll first go back to the dealer I purchased it from to determine if they can get from the original owner. He traded it in for a Jeep Cherokee - allegedly needed more room! The dealership was negligent in selling the vehicle without the programmer.
