IAG Off-Road Ranger Raptor Complete Underbody Skid Plate System – Looking for Testers

What’s up, folks!


We’re getting close on our IAG Off-Road Ranger Raptor Complete Underbody Skid Plate System, and we’re looking to put together a small group of testers from the Ranger6G community.


We still have a few details to finalize on our end, but we want to get the testing group lined up now so that as soon as we’re ready, we can start sending these out.

This system is constructed from 1/4" aluminum and will be offered in raw aluminum or black powder coat. We designed everything with recessed hardware for a clean, snag-resistant surface, and we’re using steel mounting brackets where necessary to keep things strong and secure.

The full system provides coverage for the front, engine, transmission, transfer case, and fuel tank. For this round of testing, we’re specifically looking for feedback on the complete system. That said, everything is designed to be compatible with the factory skid plates if someone later decides they just want to add protection in certain areas.


One thing we really focused on is the transmission skid. It’s more form-fitting than some of the other options out there, with the goal of maintaining as much ground clearance as possible while still offering serious protection.

We’re looking for real-world use and honest feedback. We’d love to see install impressions, fitment feedback, photos, and your thoughts.


This will be a small testing group and it will be first come, first serve.

Does it remove the same way as the OEM for oil changes?

Also, are we purchasing these products to test?

In our testing of well over a year now, we have seen no indication of airflow being a problem. Regarding drainage, the more holes you have, the more places to get hung up on. What we have is sufficient for water drainage. If you are going through mud, you're going to need to do a heavier cleaning regardless.

Have had no issues with ventilation, everything running at same temps as pre-install. I have not pulled them down to inspect or clean as I don't do much in the way of running in the mud.
