The annoying thing about lane centering is the constant warning to put keep your hands on the steering wheel, even when they are on there. I read (maybe here) that the steering wheel doesn't have sensors and you have to move the steering wheel a little to get the truck to realize your holding on.
I don't have lane centering/ adaptive cruise control on my Ranger, but have it on an f150. You can strap an ankle weight on the steering wheel in certain places and the weight will give the steering wheel enough resistance that it thinks you're holding onto it even when you're not touching the wheel at all. Then the lane centering/ adaptive cruise and adaptive speed limit all work together and it will basically self drive. It even takes curves just fine with no hands on the wheel.

*Not that I recommend doing that of course*

In Illinois there are car & truck speed limits on a lot of roads. You go by a 70mph sign and you're set at 70. A quarter mile later a sign says Trucks over so many pounds 60mph. Now you're set for 60mph.

I drive a lot of country roads where I live. There's one road with a 55mph speed limit, but you cross a small bridge with a sign that says "20 ton weight limit" and the truck thinks that the speed limit is now 20mph and will slam on the brakes 😅
