FP tune is 540 lb/ft not 590. You will also see that while other tunes pick up HP they don't gain much more torque than the FP tune so that says something. One more point on Livernois, I was considering their 93 tune so I gave them a call. They were able to give me a detailed breakdown of the...
I did the download myself then just had the dealer hit install. When you download the tune file it literally says Livernois and the tuning device is theirs with a Ford rubber sleeve. I thought the FP tune was fine but it doesn't provide any benefit to 93 octane which we have. It's a...
17" wheels definitely limit brake size. Mine take a lot of pressure but I also drive other vehicles with touchier brakes so it's hard to tell if mine work as they should.
I used the wrap on my last 3.5, the filter in that seemed to get pretty dirty. You can always add it later. I also have the side cover on so there is less exposure to the elements. I like the dry filter, no chance of over-oiling and easy to just blow stuff out with air if it does get gunked up.
I have the S&B and with the side cover on it really doesn't make much more noise. Goosetuned tested it on the dyno and it gained 15 hp, there is a thread on here. No CELs unless you forget to plug in a sensor like I did. I had a BMC drop-in before that. Porsche uses them on their high-end GT...
Goosetuned tested the S&B intake and picked up 15 hp. First page of this thread. I went with them as I had it on my F150 for 5 years and it was great. I'll never put enough miles on for all the "dirt" to wear out my engine prematurely. I put a BMC filter in then did the intake swap once S&B...
Raptor. Normal mode, comfort steering, normal suspension, sport exhaust. ASS disabled with a tune. I recently tried the sport suspension setting though and honestly couldn't believe how much it reduced the body roll on corners.
cc1999, How would that work? My RR had BL wheels, bedliner and mudflaps and was over $60k. So I could add a "package" with a sunroof, nicer leather, etc. and pay the same or less? Sure. I just wish we had the option of factory PPF for $500 like all the other Rangers have.
