My 2024 XLT FX4 has the two 120V outlets - one inside and one in the bed.
I had to work on our mailbox posts and brought along my Circular Saw and Jigsaw, as well as the necessary lumber, screws, etc. Imagine my disappointment when none of the plug-in tools worked. I checked the built-in owners manual and found that the outlets are good for a phone charger or radio - not power tools.
COME ON FORD! IT'S A FREAKING TRUCK!!! Give me an outlet that will run power tools. You put a ruler on the tailgate lip but it doesn't do me any good if I can't cut my lumber once it's measured.
Ultimately I had to go back home and get the human (me) powered hand saw. Not a straight cut was made, but I got the job done. I guess I need to try it and see if it will run the battery chargers for my cordless tools...
