original date was 2/26, moved up to 1/29. I would be more stoked, but my order got inputted incorrectly. So I am waiting on another to get scheduled...

I think your dealer should be able to modify your original order without needing to input a second new order. As long as it hasn't been built yet.

That's what many of us had to do when the FX4 package was changed to require the side-steps. We weren't able to get scheduled until we all went and modified the order.

I believe once a Vin is issued and scheduled the order can not be changed.

Yeah, that's what my dealer is saying. I remember reading somewhere that the ford vid guy said orders could be changed after VIN was issued, but I was never able to track down that video. I tried to add the XLT high package about a month ago, but the tech package was added instead. Don't really care for a bunch of cameras and nav, but seems like if I am spending this much should have heated/ power seats. Maybe I'll change my mind when the first order is shipped.

I went back and looked at the priority on my build sheet. It was 19. Did the options cause a different priority level. BTW - I did not include running boards in my initial post. Did others also get running boards? I asked my dealer if I needed to remove some of the options and he said Ford would let him know if an option caused delays. Wondering if I need to change it anyway based upon this thread and the video on March scheduling.

If you want the FX4 package, you will be required to add running boards (for some reason).

If you look at the spread sheet on here you will see the add-ons are not really affecting the order scheduling. People with all of the stuff like PPF and spray in liners and stuff are still being built before low optioned trucks. I would leave as you are wanting instead dropping stuff if you really want it.

Thank you again.
Great info and interesting to see forum sampling.
Advanced towing seems very popular.
Everything else is approximately 50/50
Canadian 3/4 of the way down also spray liner , tech package and film protection
