2024 Ranger (non Raptor) Scheduling

I went back and looked at the priority on my build sheet. It was 19. Did the options cause a different priority level. BTW - I did not include running boards in my initial post. Did others also get running boards? I asked my dealer if I needed to remove some of the options and he said Ford would let him know if an option caused delays. Wondering if I need to change it anyway based upon this thread and the video on March scheduling.

I have the chrome running boards. I ordered May 25th. Mine is priority 19. No build date yet. I also have chrome package, spray in bed liner, mud flaps, regular tow, paint protection, keypad, box sidestep. Lariat 4X4 Velocity Blue, NON FX4 and NON Raptor.

I have no idea. One thing is priority 1-19 is customer

i have no idea. Someone posted before, but I can’t find it now, that priorities 1-19 are custom orders and 20 and above are dealer orders for stock. Also someone said 1-3 are assigned by FORD production. There just doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to scheduling. When I chatted with Ford she said that my Primary Status is Order Processing and Secondary Status is Unscheduled-clean. She said that means order received, successfully edited, and is awaiting scheduling action as of May 30. (Ordered may 25.). So I do not know if any of the options are holding me back. I would presume unscheduled-clean would mean all the parts for my options and configuration were all in stock.

Priority code only matters within your dealership. If you are 4, and your dealership has another order with a 3, they take the 3 first.

Outside of your dealership, the priority code is meaningless. It was also only recently that priority 3-9 was allowed for retail orders.

Some options DO matter. Some options are only available in limited quantities, so unless they have them available, your order will be passed up for another without it. Splash guards have caused this issue in the past. Other options can also slow your order down. IE spray in bed liner.

Got an email today saying that they are still working on a build date. Not the news I was looking for. Ordered in mid Nov. Not sure if I want to wait until after March for a build date. Fingers crossed that something turns around in the next week. Getting an actual date would be helpful regardless.

Booo! Yes, I got the same crappy email. Glad to get "something", but annoyed at how others are scheduled with later order dates. Agree that supply chain excuses are BS.

I received the same e-mail yesterday, but I have been scheduled for a couple of weeks now. I just verified and the status page still shows I am scheduled for the week of Feb. 12.

There is another thread where everyone is talking about whether they are scheduled or not, and it seems nearly all of them are Raptors, although it's not clear at times. I am starting this thread to see if anyone can post their info if they are scheduled for any trim EXCEPT a Raptor. Frankly, I'm a bit tired of hearing the word Raptor

I'll start with mine:

Lariat 4x4, Velocity Blue, FX4, Advanced Towing, Box Step, Securicode. Ordered 8/22/23. Not scheduled yet (confirmed via chat today)

On Dec 12th my scheduled build week was Feb 26th
On Dec 22nd it was moved to Jan 29th.
