Just for s&g’s has anyone added up all the differences between the 24 & 25 RR they seem to be adding up. Shifter, 12 volt, someone said they were missing the 110 volt.
This was from another member that has dealer access...

Nice to know there are already some aftermarket panel solutions. Still curious if Ford left the 12v powerpoint wiring.

Thus far, it doesn't appear that they have.
Ok because I checked out a 25 xlt to day and it was missing the 12 volt bed plug but the was the only difference i saw but I didn't open the tail gate

No I think the 2024 had struts for soft open which remain on the 2025, but the 2024 also had some sort of torsion bar that made for an easier to close (lighter) tailgate and maybe that's what was removed? Maybe.

Right, this had me wondering the same. If anyone has a 2025 or is visiting a dealer and can confirm the tailgate doesn't "feel" heavy... Also, I'd imagine the torsion bar would be visible near the bottom of the tailgate, when opened.

I added the damper as my wildtrak version did not come fitted with (but provisioned so you literally only have to snap in the damper). the tailgate is actually heavier with the damper when you close it; without the damper is as light as shutting it with a puff of a wind

For stuff like this could we just look it up in the parts catalog, but it, and then install it on the ‘25? If that bar breaks on a ‘24 model I’m sure that owner will expect a replacement

Just got my first 25 in. XLT only change is the 12v. Tailgate damper and shock still the same.

Thanks Dan! That confirms the tailgate is still dampered and has the torsion bar! Maybe Ford had a change of heart, or a typo on the deletions concerning the tailgate. IDK

2024 tailgate parts diagram for quick reference.
