probably be easier to get one your local shop. they can swap your muffle to whatever brand you want (my favorites are borla and spintech) and then custom run your exhaust as duals out the back.

i want to do the same thing. or out the side in front of the rear wheel. i did the duals coming out the passenger side in front of the wheels on my 04 ranger and it looks ok.

Very true. I have had work done at a former Tubby's location twice with great service. They have a proper bender and all the right tools. I had them install the Gibson dual rear exit kit on my 5G and they did a great job. No leaks and near perfect symmetry.

Alright, the '25 Lariat is still on the lot at $8100 under MSRP. But I am beginning to lean toward a Raptor, which has near everything I could want. The same dealer has a '25 Raptor, but its only $800 under MSRP. Not a huge fan of white, but with the black contrasts, it's starting to grow on me.

Go drive both! I drove a 2.7 Lariat which was a nice, solid ride. Then I drove the Raptor and it took a while to wipe the smile off my face! I assume since you have a tune on your 5G you like a spirited drive, at least once in a while. Put the Raptor in sport drive mode, normal suspension and comfort steering.

Yep, tuned 5G. So stock 400+HP is seriously attractive. Stock dual exhaust too. By the time I would get a Lariat up to my liking, I would close in on half the difference.

Yep! Sounds like you are looking for the best value, too. I bought my '25 RR at sticker for 58K. Just checked and within 50 miles from me (Northern Virginia) there are 2 used 2024 RR's with 15K miles on them both listed for 55K.

Yeah, I also noticed that used RR's are only within a few thousand of a new one, so not really worth it to me.

My point was they don't lose their value as quickly, not that you should buy used.

I have read that Fox shocks need to be rebuilt every so often. Does this apply to the shocks on a RR if so equipped? The one I have an eye on has Fox Live Valve shocks.

Having had quite bit of practice at tracking down and buying Rangers both Raptors and non-Raptors.
IMO.
Good price on used is $48k-$52k depending on condition and miles.
Good deal on new us $54-59K depending on spec.

They just bumped this back up to $1 under MSRP. Yes, one dollar. Never seen that before.

Not new but this just showed up down the road for 55k.

I dont know if its a good deal or not at 55k. Its a certified preowned with 11k miles. Its a 2025.

Its nice. Interior is very nice, i didnt see any exterior stuff, the underside is clean. It drives perfectly.

First time i have even sat in a ranger raptor so it was very fun. I notice the suspension rides stiffer than my stx does which is kind of weird since the f150 raptor rides so smooth. But its quick, for sure.
