Picked up my 2025 RR a week ago and just noticed today that the 12v outlet in the bed is missing. Anyone know if Ford removed this outlet in the 2025 model year? I think I saw 2024 model year RRs with this outlet. Thanks.

Yeah, seems to be the case. There are some companies (Ausmotion?) that create replacement electrical panels that have additional 12v / Anderson plugs. Couldn't find a replacement OEM panel in stock that has the 12v plug

Picked up my 2025 RR a month ago, and ordered the power outlet for a 2024 RR, and it worked. The plug is the same. Only issue is it cost $290.

Was the wiring for the 12v outlet already in place or did you have to run a wire to a power source like the battery or fuse panel?

The wiring is built into the plug, it’s all one wire harness. Look at my previous reply to another poster. Looks like Ford just got cheap and didn’t install the 12v

Great information!

I'm going to have to order one of those for later installation.

I don't really feel like removing the bed-liner side that was just installed, at the moment.

Anyone know if just the plastic power panel is available separately? I'm going to install a 12 volt socket and I already have the wiring and socket, just need the plastic mounting panel. If not I guess I can punch a hole in the blank cover that Ford put there.

What is the smaller cover to the right over the wheel for? Could I put it there?

That cover over the wheel well is where the in-bed lights would be if you got that package. I think it's just a snap in cover. IMO would be more secure and accessible to mount a 12v to the larger panel since it's bolted in. Since the 12v outlet that comes factory has a specific mount/shape, I'd just drill a hole into your existing panel and mount your outlet. Will still look clean.

TY @dcky12937 for the info and pics. Was bummed my 2025 only came with the 110v outlet. Picked up the 2024 panel for $230 shipped. Really nice that it's plug and play..

Thanks Rex, that's what I was thinking. Do you know how this will work out with the full Bedrug kit? The topper installers are also going to install the Bedrug, will they just unscrew the big panel, cut the Bedrug then screw the panel back in place?

You'd probably want to ask them to cut around it. They might cover it up since there's just blank panels there. If you ask them to leave a couple extra inches of fabric, there's a chance you could tuck it back behind the panel once you bolt it back in after installing your 12v and it would look flush, although I know those bed rugs are pretty thick. Might have to just life with a cutout...
