2025 RR Stop Start Eliminator Bracket

Just got my 2025.25 RR and have tried to install the stop start eliminator i got from RA Ranger.

Seems mine has a protective bracket in the way that prevents the cable from being removed?
Anyone else had this issue/found a good way around it?

I am not familiar with the device you have. The start stop eliminator I put in my 24 , plugged directly into the switch with a power wire to the fuse box. Got it from Aliexpress for less than $30. Should work on the 25’s. Works great and you can still select on/off with the switch.

Is this the underside of the switch panel that has the start/stop button?

I don’t recognise what’s in this photo?

the RA Ranger start/stop eliminator plugs into the switch panel that has the start/stop button and then is powered from the fuse box by the drivers knee. Are you sure you’re in the right area?

The 4D Tech ASS eliminator plugs in where the OP is indicating. My 2025 XL does not have that protective bracket, which would seem to make it nearly impossible to unplug the cable. If one of these other options uses a different connector, I might recommend that route to the OP.

My early 2025 does not have that bracket. Curious how they expect to install even the perimeter plus security, which is what I installed with that connector.

There is a YouTube video that shows this bracket. The person in the video bent it out of the way to install the Stop/Start eliminator.

Woah, didn't expect so many responses.

This is the one I got from RA Ranger. Looks very similar to the one from 4D that many of you seem to be familiar with.

Despite it's appearance it's actually quite easy to bend out of the way.
Recommend using pliers at the start to get leverage due to the tight angle.

All installed and working perfectly now!

Mines coming in the post today, new style RA Ranger (original plugged into the switch and ran to the fuse box) new style plugs into the module on the passengers side, (left side for me, located in Australia). The vid on YouTube show that bracket being bent out of the way for access. I’ll know more when I install mine, stop/start drives me mad.

For some reason I thought the RA installed in the center console, the 4D installs behind the glove box.

Seems like everyone posting from USA doesn't include the bracket, but other countries do. Mine also did not have a bracket. Wonder why that is, some regulation difference?

Not a raptor but this is the silver metal box with the 4d gadget plugged in to the spot circled

side of glove compartment.
