That 1845 is when it gets combined with Technology group.
The Advanced tow package by itself is still 895.00
Considering I was starting from a Lariat build, there's no tech package to be added, it's standard. But that does make sense for XLTs.

Honestly Ford North America has got there you know what up there you know what. To not offer the sunroof on the Raptor is just stupid. What is a better place to have a sunroof than doing off road things. The ability to look up through your sunroof roof and see all the sites when off-roading is always nice. They also should have made a Tremor for the people who want a truck more capable off road than FX4 with auto 4wd but still can tow as much as the FX4 truck. Every Midsize top of the line offroad truck offers Red except Ford. Instead Ford takes all the colors away and gives us another Flat gray. Does Ford think all its customer are color Blind and only see shades of gray. All these flat grey paints are saving them money you can bet. Never knew so many people that want so many flat colors out there. But all the time all I hear is why do they not offer more color choice, some us are getting tired of the Flat Grays and Whites. Ford NA is so concern about the F150 they have forgotten about the rest of the truck lineup. Ford has become a company that wants to get every last cent out of it customers with going up on the price every time they get a chance and offering less with all the discontenting they do. Fords lack luster refresh of the F150 also has lost market share to GM twins. I should say grill change on the new refresh not one engine changed except for the worst where the 5.0 was added MDS like GM's V8's just what everyone was asking for. GM outsells them in every category by size Full-size Truck and Midsize Truck except the mini truck. They are going to run off all their customers if they keep this up. When you run the customer off its almost impossible to get them back Ford. Now with RAM planning to do a midsize truck you can bet it will have it all. If they put the Hurricane engine in their new Midsize and make a RHO version of a midsize truck, Raptor is done for unless Ford steps it up on the Ranger Raptor. Ford better get to work and start listening to the customer. But Ford NA probably really does not care what their customers think unless they are buying a F150 and because of that thinking they will never be number 1 in trucks again. All I wanted this year from Ford was a red Ranger Raptor in my favorite color Ruby Red what did I get another gray primer color! Sorry for the long rant just had to get it off my chest flame away.
What you say is sad but true.

Ford is run by Jim Farley, who was formerly with Toyota as the group vice president and general manager of Lexus. He was responsible for all luxury sales, marketing, and customer satisfaction. He also sits on the Board for Harley Davidson, which has customers running away screaming in droves to companies like Indian. Harley customers are begging the corporate heads to listen to them. Crickets.

Farley has decided the Ford future is in EV and PHEV, with a $4 Billion investment. The bill payers are the gas burner customers who get stuck with bland paint and trims that are not that much different except in price but are cheaper to produce. If you notice, Ford has become environmentally friendly to attract a certain demographic, not only with the tree hugger names of their paint but also using about 250 recycled plastic bottles in each Maverick. Active-X, the next gen vinyl, is replacing leather in upper truck trims as being easier to clean and environmentally conscious, although leather is a sustainable resource.

Quality is a serious problem. Ford has 94 recalls reported from January 2024 to March 2025 alone, affecting over 5.6 million vehicles. Ford is responsible for 60% of all American auto recalls in 2025. Many are software issues.

But overall, Ford trucks are still pretty darn good, despite some of our comrades in Ranger ownership experiencing problems due to poor assembly and quality control, dependent upon who had a bad day at the plant. What is worse is that the corporate HQ does not seem to care about customers with issues or at least resolving them quickly to the owner's satisfaction.

Prices, well, for example Maverick, the People's 4' bed phony 'truck' (really a unibody urban utility vehicle), has gone up $9K in four model years base level and $12k at the Lariat level with no engine differences (Allison hybrid and a 2.0L) between models and 30 recalls. If you look at Maverick Lariat, you are paying a good chunk of money for one power seat, no Home Link, Active-X, the same engines as every other model, and the list of what isn't there goes on. The Maverick Lariat has a name but not the expected Lariat luxury features, especially for the money.

As you and others point out about models, colors, packages, cab configurations, ventilated seats, bed length, and options, Ford's CEO is not listening to what the NA potential buyers want. Farley has a better idea, his idea, and it is electric. This becomes more apparent when you go online and look at what Ford Ranger is offering in the UK, Australia, and elsewhere. Want a Ranger Tremor? Go to Australia with right-hand drive.

The RAM Dakota midsize truck is due out in 2027. If done properly, it is going to smoke the NA mid-sized truck market, given what Brazil is producing for their domestic customers with the smaller RAM Rampage. Go online and look at that RAM Rampage and you can imagine what is coming. There are lots of videos showing it in action.

BTW, no Red for Ranger Raptor in 2026 means we walked away. We are trying to get a 2025 Ruby Red Lariat on a dealer trade but that does not happen as much anymore. My dealer has tried over 20 VINs I would buy since June 2025 through the mandatory Ford dealer system. He got one NO and the rest were ignored. That says a lot about Ford dealerships and how they run their businesses. Ford has buyers with nothing they want locally but nationally the dealers are sitting on inventory that has not moved on their lots. Add to that, places like Future Ford in Sacramento have 2025 Ranger Raptors at $30K over MSRP right now, and $10K over in Vegas and Kansas City as "market demand" or ADM. You can see why Ford has issues. Every one of those dealers represents the Blue Oval, free market or not, and when you see that kind of gouging (which should be reported to State AG's BTW), you are really seeing Jim Farley at Ford who lets it happen.

Disappointing. Appears the MSRP will go up for not much of anything and, in some cases like Active-X vinyl on a 2026 Lariat, less. Will watch the Long-McArthur deep dive video coming out on Friday and then it is time to get a used low mile 2024 under warranty or cut a deal on a new 2025. As of 10-16-2025, per Trucar, Nationwide there are 5, 832 unsold 2025 Rangers (not including @ 15% dealer hidden vehicles in the system window stickers), of which 385 are Raptors (again, @ 15% dealer hidden window stickers).
I did a search for RR found 703 in transit or on lots. Ford has increased production of Rangers this year. Production through September was almost equal to entire 2024 Ranger US production. At this production rate they should hit 60K or more, which is way up from 46,205 last model year.
Do have to say I am seeing 6g Rangers on the road lately.

57965 - 52100 = 5865.00
When I bought my Raptor it did have a $1000 trade assistance rebate.
Don't know if that is still there or not.

Without Rebates $57,965 - 54,100.00 = $3865 difference which is mostly what I base my quick analysis on. That 2K rebate does help close that gap some.
I bet it is still close, not sure how much difference the cost of tires would be some of those things are very minimal differences.

I am still not sure where the $9K comes from your seeing.
I am still seeing that spread more in the $5K initial purchase cost assuming option as similar as possible.

That is comparing v6 lariat 4x4 to v6 Raptor which are all 4x4s.
I did the same comparison before I bought my Raptor this spring. My price difference ended up being about $2000 after getting 2K off MSRP on my Raptor. It made the price comparison much closer than just comparing the MSRPs. This made it a no brainer to buy the RR.

I had a 2.7L EB v6 in a Bronco prior to my 1st RR.
‘It’s an impressive engine.
Seemed Pretty similar in performance to my RRs 3.0L EB v6.

I would still love to see the Coyote 5.0L v8 show up in a RR some day.
No turbos, no superchargers , just a good old normal aspirated v8.
‘That would be my dream engine for the RR.

Absolutely thrilled I got the 2.7L V6 in my 300A XLT before this change, huge win for me.
I gave up on my usual dealer after 22 VIN dealer trade failures since June 2025 and no truck. My salesman called me and said they are too small a business and cannot swap a similar truck because they don't have any. Then he referred me to a larger dealer, who now is doing a national search, not just regional. You gots to do what you gots to do, especially since I have two coupons now good combined plus anything else I can get, a Ford loyalty exclusive cash offer coupon good for $2500 off an F150 (less Raptor) or Expedition, or $750 off a Ranger (less Raptor) good to January 5, 2026 + $1000 off for being retired military, which is double the usual discount but expires November 19. Dealers are giving a lot off Rangers right now so potentially I can get an additional $1750 off plus whatever I can negotiate on my trade. If they can get the truck.

Close but not black appearance. The salesman at the new dealership I'm working with just emailed me to say he found one and is working the trade. Go figure.
Nice 👍

So, you're going to keep your wife and not have to drive a Chevy? Win win.
