Has anyone had issues with the leather on the seats in their 2025 Lariat loosening? I test drove one the other day and the driver side seating surface seemed a little loose compared to the leather seats of other vehicles I've owned.

It happens in every ranger raptor too. First thing i did, was replace them with katzkin seats. So happy that I did, better quality and fit.

Mine look like balloons. I asked my service advisor to send it to Ford to get them replaced.

Maybe that's why they switched to Active X for 2026. I haven't sat in a vehicle with Active X seats yet so I don't know how that material compares. I'm trying to figure out whether I should be looking for a deal on a 2025 or ordering a 2026.

I would say go for the 25’.
Factor in price increase and lack there of rebates on 26s. Cost difference is likely around $3k just based on MSRP not factoring in dealer discounts to move old stock, which may not happen least not as aggressively for while.

Aside from the seats there is some speculation based on the 26 order guide that the Lariat may not have active headlights anymore. Which has yet to be verified on a 26 Lariat since none have been built yet.

I am not sure if it’s the leather as much as it is the foam it’s covering or maybe lack of enough foam .to keep the leather pulled tight over it.

Ford has been making leather seats for 100 years. What a sorry excuse and this is not directed at you, but for Ford to say they can't make a leather seat anymore is a shame.

It not the foam or all the seats would deform and loosen. My XLT is perfect, but my 24 RR was already loose at low miles.

having sold many with active x, its basically vinyl seating as far as I am concerned, and just to be clear even in the 25 the seats are not all leather, just were you sit is, the rest in active x already. Might be part of the problem with them getting loose and baggy.

And even the part you sit on, is it really quality leather? I think it's a bonded leather product.

Makes me glad I got a 2025 Lariat. The moonroof doesn't interest me, and neither does the new color, and I prefer the LED headlights.

Wonder when they'll be on the website for the build tool. Certainly they're not still taking orders for 25s.

what is Ford thinking???all other brands have been selling 26’s for months. I was waiting to order a red Raptor or Red Ranger Tremor in the US…but now planning to get GMC Canyon AT4x in red…with ventilated seats, rear air and sunroof. My last 6 vehicles were Ford and I hate to leave…any chance Ford will surprise me when they finally get the 26 models on the website?

Raptor, Maverick, and Canyon is quite a spread of trucks to be interested in. A buddy of mine has one of those ATX4s. It’s really nice.

Nope. order guide has been in dealer hands for months, and you can indeed walk into one and order what you want. It is the lack of interest in them updating the website that is stupid. But not much has changed, so no real surprises to be had.
