2026 XLT, 301A Package - Heated mirrors?

Hey guys. Stumbled upon this post about adding heated mirrors to an XLT

It made me realize: wait, do the XLTs not come with heated mirrors? WTF? My 11 year old Subaru came with them standard!

Curious, do heated mirrors only get paired with power folding mirrors; ie, if you have manual folding mirrors, does that mean no heated mirrors for sure?

Kind of a bummer. I'm paying twice as much for this Ranger as my wife's new Mazda 3 which is decked out with all sorts of features, leather seats, and heated mirrors too. Just kind of wild to me.

Curious if anyone out there with an XLT has heated mirrors, or if someone can confirm that only Lariats with power folding mirrors get it? Thanks!

As far as I know, no heated mirrors on a 2026 XLT. They also removed the power folding option.

So weird. Don't think I've ever had a car without heated mirrors.

Ironically enough, the Ranger won't fit in my garage so this will be the first time needing them! What do you guys do in the winter?

I never had a car WITH heated mirrors. Those would never get used down here.
I have a '24 XLT High, and although it has power folding mirrors, they are not heated mirrors.
ASAIK, only Lariats and Raptors had heated mirrors.

My quick research shows that the XLT only gets heated mirrors in certain packages, and that it's tied in to the defrost function. It is not a stand alone button like on many other cars. I'm actually not sure if its advertised on window stickers as being a feature or not? I won't be able to test until it gets cold enough here to actually use the defroster.

Yep 301 is heated power glass with manual fold. On the 301 description on the online build, but not clear on the "order guide" sheet.

Wallowa, for your 300/tech did you get heated? Power fold was stock 300, lamp/camera was tech, signals were 301 but I forget what side the heated glass fell to in '24

Interesting, thanks for sharing... can I ask how you got this info? Is it for 2026s? When I go into the online build tool, the 301 package doesn't say it includes heated mirrors, or at least I'm not seeing it anywhere.

Heated mirrors dropped for XLT 2026. I know disappointing for us folks in the North East, should of at least been an option.
Once iced up the BLIS system should be wonderful unless its heats up enough to melt some of the ice

I got the rear window defrost but not sure if it was part of a package or not.

I think the heated mirrors are reserved for the lariat and raptor trims. I have a tech package on my 2025 XLT so the mirrors are retractable and have the blis camera built in but no heat.

Even my 2014 F-150 XLT had heated mirrors They were just power mirrors.They didn't retract.

I'm not sure. I know my Ranger is 300a. I have power folding mirrors. The window sticker makes no mention of heated mirrors. I know have a heated rear window because I can see the heating elements in the glass. If it's tied into my mirrors I have no way of knowing until it gets cold enough to use the defroster function. I live in the dry part of Oregon so its basically already summer here. I won't be able to test it until probably October.

Need the XLT 301A package, not the base XLT 300A package for factory heated mirrors and puddle lights(and 24-25 turn signals which they removed from all 26's)

Are you sure? It sounds like 2026 XLT with 301A still doesn't get heated mirrors?

Ford Canada build and price anyways shows 300a non heated, and 301a gets heated, manual fold, mirrors. so wants a set of 24-25 xlt 301a, or lariat mirrors if you got the tech package with 360 cams.

so 26 xlts lost power fold, turns signals, and not sure about the puddle lights, but a xlt 301A owner needs to check of they got puddle lights or not.

but as long as the truck is prewired to the mirror plug in the door, you can put in the non tech package 301a mirrors. Im semi there with just the heated glass, and im either gunna get a set of mirrors off ebay, and swap the north america glass over, or get a pair of Diode dynamics new dual function rock lights amber/white for my puddle/turns and wire them in.
