Guess you speak for the whole internet with your AI smarts. The materials scientists are wrong, only cow hide is best to sit on forever. AI pulls its data from moron opinions on forums, how's that for smarts? AI answers give you reddit posts as results, and you believe that?

Can't take anyone seriously if they ever say ask AI, sheesh. Just gonna ignore you now and skip anymore dumb stuff.

AI response to this specific question reviews forums and lots of other websites, and summarizes both owners/users reports and other sources.

I'm sorry you can't accept that your views do not align with the majority - I tried to enlighten you and gave you a resource to find more information. Synthetic leather does not breathe as well as the real stuff, and it isn't simply "just me".

I initially had this view based on personal experience. I seems that I am not alone in this belief. If fake leather did not make me clammy, I would not be posting this.

You may have had a different experience - claiming that they breathe as well or better - good for you. That isn't what I experience, nor what many other people report.

From what I can tell, the only leather in my Lariat is the center panels in the bottom and back of the front seats and this doesn't include the side bolsters. For all practical purposes I wouldn't say the seats are leather and Ford is misleading people in their advertising. I agree with @NOT_RAPTOR in that the ActiveX material is likely as good, or even better, than leather for the reasons mentioned. Also, I would prefer the areas where the driver contacts the seats to be all leather or all ActiveX material. IMO, having a mix of materials makes the seats slightly less comfortable due to the leather being less pliable than the ActiveX fabric.
Ford has always called the seats leather trimmed. Not full leather. I agree that Is somewhat confusing as sometimes that is shortened to just leather by people.

So if the 3.0 Ranger has more power than the 2.7 next year will it close the acceleration gap between say a 27 xlt 3.0 and a raptor?

Physics would say yes.
But why does that matter? My stock 2.3 is plenty fast and there will always be someone faster. I never got the obsession for power/speed, especially with fuel prices these days.

The 3.0L in the lower trim levels will be detuned from the 3.0L in the Raptor. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the Raptor gets a hp and torque boost. The main difference between the 2.7L and the 3.0L is that peak torque happens around 2.2k rpm with the 3.0L compared to 3.5k rpm with the 2.7L. The 3.0L will feel more like a diesel than a gas engine regarding power delivery.

In the 2027 F150 the 3.0 has the same power specs as the outgoing 2.7TT, the main difference is peak power comes in 1200rpms sooner. I assume the 3.0 in the non raptor Rangers will also be 315hp and 400ft lbs and only the bronco non raptor 3.0s are going to have the higher power specs they already stated.

Probably. What it won't give you is the front locker, live shocks, and watts link rear suspension. The engine in the Raptor is only part of the greatness.

True. I live in Idaho and climb mountains. I had a 19 fx4 Ranger and it took me on any road out here many of which where questionable for anything. It did great. I have not had a chance to do the same with my new 25 2.7 xf4 but i imagine it will be fine. The main issue has always been being a bit to big for some of the roads. The FX4 is definitely a capable off roader though.

It's pretty good from my experience in Washington. Couldn't justify the Raptor price, especially since there really isn't anywhere I can stomp on it off-road given just about every forest service road around me has many blind corners.

Same here. A few areas south of Boise but the Raptor cost outweigh the benefits for me

Sadly enough the ROW hybrid powertrain did, once again, not make it to North America.
