Future Ford of Sacramento, California, had three 2025 RR at $30K over MSRP. They are supposedly an award-winning dealership. Places like this should be reported to the State Attorney General, for gouging, but then there are people who will pay it. $90K gets you an F150 Raptor at Don Hattan in Kansas.

One of the dealers here buys RR from out east from dealers for 1k over sticker and will bring them back and mark up 10k-15k. Sad but true! Idiots still buy them. So it will never end. I always say take your time when buying. These things seem to work out over time. I remember when base Broncos were selling for 10k over back in the day.

Oh yeah you should see how bad it is in Alamogordo. Absolute scum, scamming delinquents. They had some horrific mark-ups. You can smell the hate on them too when i used them as a delivery location for my Ranger and Bronco I got under MSRP.

Yeah, I mentioned them. I called them when I was shopping and they laughed at even negotiating.

And its a 2025. Looks like a they threw some color matching, Method wheels and black exhaust tips for those extra dollars.
Typically the modification costs are basically a net zero gain in sale price when you lost a vehicle unless they were professionally installed. The added material costs are offset by the loss in value of modifying the vehicle from stock conditions.

the one that got me for $500 Nitrogen for the tires lol
I was getting new tires installed years ago and the tire store said they put Nitrogen in my tires and weren't going to charge me for it because I was a returning customer.
I told the salesman that I wouldn't pay for it because I have an air compressor at home that has 78% Nitrogen.
He became inquisitive and asked were did I get it, and what is the name brand. I told him it was a Husky that I got from Home Depot. He asked what model because he wanted to get one. I left him in the dark and just said, "I don't remember, but ask at the store and they can help you."
I would have loved to have heard that conversation.

It really bothers me that the manufacturers don't step in and put some pressure on the dealers to stop this greedy nonsense.
When Bronco Raptors were getting $20k over MSRP they just raised the MSRP $10k one year, another $10k the next. They're not going to leave money on the table and I don't know why we would expect them to.

The Bronco prices are from memory but I think that's fairly accurate.

It isn't gouging if you're free to say "no." Why don't you report buyers to the AG? You know ... the buyers who pay high prices and keep the market up?

Or report Ford. If the MSRP was $20k lower, a $20k dealer markup wouldn't be as big of a deal.

Its kind of insane how inefficient the market is around these trucks. There are plenty of 24 and 25 raptors with under 15k miles in the northeast being sold for $55k (sometimes less) and new ones for at MSRP. You can ship a truck across the country for a small fraction of the upcharge some of these dealers are charging (new or used).

The State Attorney General is probably getting a cut.

I don't see a market given $30K on just three trucks. If there was, then why isn't every dealer in California selling RR at that price, which is the cost of a Ford F150 Raptor here? I agree they can charge whatever and the buyer can say No. The dealer is paying to keep the unsold vehicles on the lot plus insurance. Calling Ford is useless. They know at Corporate what this dealer is doing because the dealer is a big bug in Sacramento with connections and Ford has given him many awards.
