The deal sheet changed. Check now.I can't get your links to work and see nothing on your latest post ?
I just financed a little bit so that the dealership could get the commission from the bank. Once I pick up the truck I'll pay the loan down to $10 or something but I have to hold it for 6 months or else the dealership gets the commission charged back.Paid in full
The double hit if you finance it. Truck is depreciate as soon as to take it off the Lot.
then pay the interest rate over say 5 years or more. No thanks.
if i could not have paid it in full I would not have purchased a 2025 Ranger.
That's not your problem unless you signed a loan document agreeing to an early repayment penalty.I just financed a little bit so that the dealership could get the commission from the bank. Once I pick up the truck I'll pay the loan down to $10 or something but I have to hold it for 6 months or else the dealership gets the commission charged back.
It's not but I'm getting $8k off and it won't cost me anything for them to get their finance commission. That's not your problem unless you signed a loan document agreeing to an early repayment penalty.
My Dealer was pressuring me to get my vehicle off the lot. They have to pay when its on the lot.I just financed a little bit so that the dealership could get the commission from the bank. Once I pick up the truck I'll pay the loan down to $10 or something but I have to hold it for 6 months or else the dealership gets the commission charged back.
I have done the same to get the finance rebates. It's not but I'm getting $8k off and it won't cost me anything for them to get their finance commission.
Most dealers are selling for 4% to 5% below invoice before rebates on non-raptor rangers. So if ur in that range, youre doing good.I tried to calculate price versus invoice:
Metric Without Rebates (Dealer Discount: $48,400) With Rebates (Net Price: $45,150) % Below MSRP ($52,400) 7.63% 13.84% % Below Invoice ($50,324) 3.82% 10.28%
Not his problem, but being fair to his dealership since it helped get him an additional rebate, hence lower price. They will charge back the dealership if its pd off before the 6 months. That's not your problem unless you signed a loan document agreeing to an early repayment penalty.
That sounds about right. Most dealers are selling for 4% to 5% below invoice before rebates on non-raptor rangers. So if ur in that range, youre doing good.
