A/C issues after Intercooler install

So I have been having A/C cooling issues ever since I installed the CV Fab Intercooler. The A/C blows very cold about 25% of the time and other times just hot air. In this South Louisiana heat, it’s not a favorable situation. Anyone have any similar experience after installing an intercooler, no matter the brand?

Did you remove the front shutter fins only?

I installed a massive Process West Stage 2 intercooler in my 2025 RR. I removed all of the grill shutters on both the intercooler and radiator. I have had no issues here in the Phoenix heat. Is it possible that an A/C line might have been damaged and you lost some of the charge?

I guess it’s possible but I don’t see how, the install was so easy

Maybe have it checked. Low freon will trip the low pressure switch and if it's right on the edge the cold air will cut in and out.

I was concerned how close the intercooler and A/C condenser were to each other. And the condenser doesn't have the most robust mounting. You could also check the clearance between the two and make sure they are not getting too friendly with each other.

By itself or did you install it with other mods and tuning at the same time?
