Has anyone installed a new intercooler on their own yet?

Did yours come with the foam tape you put on top of the IC? Mine came with some real thin stuff and I thought was to go between the fins and that back plastic piece?

Also did you reuse and of the front plastic shroud? I took the entire thing out but wondering if I could of reused part of it.

Yes it came with the tape I installed

nothing on the fins fit like a glove after I trimmed it

Yes I used both front shroud pieces I just removed the front flaps

its a great advantage you can use the stock piping with this IC. When I did the fenix one on mine I had to change all the pipes, its a PIA and there are no additional gains from that

What did you use to trim the plastic off of the louvers on the back so it would fit on the Wagner?

What was needed to be removed in order to get the front louvers out?

I used a cutoff wheel on a diesel tool

The intercooler pipes are much more involved than the intercooler but the PW kit quality and fit were great the Air box is work of art ??

Cobb’s fit nicely. I noticed they use garret cores.

Yes i had alittle bit of problem when installing the pipes mainly because they didnt ship me any clamps to use so i had to reuse a lot of the stock system ones and then go to Lowe’s to get more clamps so i could get my vehicle running. That would be by only complaint for them.

The hose clamps in the kit work but I purchased a complete set from Greddy I used them on past builds and they are great never had one fail
