This is a funny thread and an old one. Last eco ran the AEM, before that on coyote the roush, made lots of noise no hp gains and filtered fine. So basically $500.00 for nothing!

This is nothing but anecdotal information. The Ecoboost engine crank case vapor by will oil a MAF far quicker than any K&N filter will. The oil film on the K&N when applied correctly, produces no oil residue in the intake or MAF.

Over 60 decades of production, national and international sales, with literally millions sold and no issues. Yeah sure their crap🥱🙄………. Seriously, move!🫵🇺🇸
I never said anything about oil film. Plus, I never mentioned K&N specifically either. Did you look at the testing that was linked right under your post? Of course you didn't. tl;dr the K&N performed the worst (or close to worst) in all filtering test metrics but you do you.

Really? There are so many tests out there exposing what garbage K&N filters are, but keep your head in the sand, not my vehicle. You K&N fan bois act like someone slapped your mother or something.

Maybe you misinterpreted what I meant. I was referring to the K&N disciples who rave about how good they are without providing any factual information. Read more than the last page of a thread before you comment.

“Sure I did,“ so much for more your ignorant speculations.

We can post test after test and come to their specific conclusions of which you have none of your own. However, the proof is in the actual daily, application and usage of the product.

Speaking from long term experience with the product over several engine formats from; NA, supercharged, Turbocharged, even rotary and I’ve never had an engine internals deteriorate due to a K & N’s use. Which is real world application, not personal speculations or someone’s else’s specifically controlled ISO testing.

You’re comments, are based in anecdotal commentary with zero to minimal, long term, actual experience full stop!🤣

You're welcome to use what you want based upon controlled testing. I’ll do the same without any doubts from long term, daily real world use and experience. Which isn’t based on anecdotal information.

Further, I’m not going to argue your personal opinion.🫵🤡🇺🇸

When I bought the Ford tuner for my 2019 Lariat FX4 Sport, it INCLUDED a K&N filter from FORD! If it’s good enough for the manufacturer, then I think that it will work just fine. The K&N filter was the first thing I bought for my RR.
