Aftermarket Wheel Hub Bore and Backspacing

I know there must be some wheel pros in here. How much does hub bore matter? I get you want it to be larger than the hub bore but does it really matter that much if it’s not a match? I know hub centric rings are a thing, but I feel like there are so many wheels out there people are running that have wheels with large bores and no rings.

Also, when posting your wheel offsets, make sure to post the wheel width too.

I run hub rings to help with the slop of the wheel bore being larger than the hub bore. I know some run without hub rings on aftermarket wheels with no issues and I would if they matched. I personally am not comfortable running without the hub rings on my setup as I think it puts too much pressure on the lugs as they technically could move a little since there is a little play between the lugs and the wheel.

For my instance, my hub rings are 106mm-93.1mm. I'm running 17x9 Ultra Warmonger 6 wheels with a 12mm offset.

I couldn’t find anything that was hub centric that I really liked. Nothing wrong with running rings, I just wanted an oem replacement. So I had forged wheels made that are the hub centric to my liking

Black Rhino non hub centric, most rings are plastic and don’t supply support but centering.

I have a friend who worked with the designer and came back with renderings until it was something I liked, I can get more done , any spec.
