My dealer, Galpin Ford in Van Nuys, Calif., texted me this week to say the parts are in and would I call to make an appointment-? I did so, and am scheduled for the first week in November. Supposedly the work takes only two hours. (Two hours is half the time it’ll take me to drive to Van Nuys and back since I live in Riverside County!)

I had mine done last week, wanted to post here and say it was fine, but unfortunately they jammed the sunglass hatch somehow that it won't open, I found a random rubber foot looking thing in the truck, and it has a chemical smell in the cabin...
The good news is that the headliner is fine. They're coming to pick it up tomorrow to fix the sunglass hatch.

Stopped by the dealership where I bought my truck , asked the service manager how many they've done so far. He said he can't recall them doing one yet, so guess I'm going to have to wait a bit longer to get mine done.

I just picked my truck up from the dealer. It took longer than they expected, but everything seems put back together correctly and all lights and switches work correctly.

I had mine done today. Headliner needs to be dropped. The tech was in a rush on mine and a complete idiot. Weatherstripping installed wrong, finger prints on headliner, dirty hands prints on my interior panels, boot print on the painted part of the sill , the passenger front seat was left tilted forward and the running boards were left full of dirty work boot prints plus my interior was left dirty from when the headliner dropped. I left it there for them to detail and fix the issues after pointing out all the issues to the service manager.....not a good day.

That's probably the only main job he had and he screwed it up. I would ask the service manager to have him never work on my vehicle again.

Took mine in yesterday to have some warranty work done and told them to go ahead and tackle any recalls. When I picked it up last night they told me Ford has a bold notice NOT to perform this recall. So they didn't. Don't know what that was about but with the crap shoot on tech quality, I can't say I care much.

I had mine done Thursday of last week (11-20-2025) and everything went well and they cleaned up well afterwards. I do remember a chemical smell but it was gone by the end of the day.

I don't know how long it took because I had my 10k service done and another recall at the same time and by the time I got back from lunch (they started at 8:30am) it was all done and had been for a while.

.Carfax says the same thing. Im not in a rush.
I'll wait until they have perfected the recall process.

I think the parts are not available or maybe the training required to complete the fix arent done ?
Also dont see many gen 6 Rangers around here, I think my dealer sold about 6 last year so they may have no idea how to fix the airbags yet?

Had the recall fix done but now the garage door opener buttons on the visor are not working and have no power. Took it back but the dealer can't fix it.
