Kicking around the idea of swapping out my KO3s for Michelln Defenders on my RR Ranger, I had them on previous trucks. great tires , don't need KO3s for summer. Anyone ever use them on Ranger Raptor??

This isn't popular, but I was actually thinking of doing the same thing. Or maybe getting a set of lighter wheels and running Defenders on those for daily use.

If you don't need the off-road capability, and don't care about the looks, the Defenders will be better on road conditions for every variable, and will return better fuel economy.

I don't have a ranger raptor but I'm thinking about putting them on my s.T.X. I had them on my 04 ranger , and they were great

I just ordered a set of 265/65-18 Defender LTX M/S2's for my Lariat. They're $100 off at Costco right now.
I have zero need for the Wrangler Territory AT/s tires that came with the truck.
The improved ride, handling and potential extra mpg or 2 will be worth it.

I had the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 tires installed today. I immediately noticed that the steering is more responsive and the ride is moderately improved with less impact harshness. They're also noticeably quieter at all speeds.
They are an all season highway tire but are rated pretty decent for winter driving and mild off roading.
If you aren't a hard core off roader or hard core off road poser, you may like this tire.
